I run field trials. 3 retrieves and a blind, in each test i run. I find that when i think to hard about the test, i start second guessing myself. Soooo I only think about 1 step at a time, first mark, line my dog right for the second mark, receive her back and line her up for the third mark (the dog has to remember where all 3 fell, and so do i). Breaking it down makes it so much less overwhelming.. thinking how i want to run the test 1 retrieve (mark) at a time, helps me focus.. I would think barrels could work the same, if that self doubt, feeling starts creeping in. I sure helps me focus on the task at hand. Love your videos. most of the women in my sport are x horse girls... cool.

You should do a chill day with babyflo and play with her and do new things and maybe put her in a paddock with a toy or ball and just let her be a horse and have a change. I'm not saying you dont give her enough tine to relax coz she obviously lives what she does but i just wanna see her playing.
