For how much the tower has grown Mecca all I can say is... you'd be surprised how fast things get built when you remove all OSHA compliance and aren't afraid to kill people to get it done.
I like the Seed Shooter (which I always thought was a blowgun, and never got how the bouncing worked but didn't care) waaaaay better than the equivalent in Seasons. Although the Seasons Equivalent I think might make a certain linked boss easier. I'd have to replay both repeatedly to say for a certainty.
They're called "iron masks" or "helmasaurs" alongside hiploops. I think helmasaur is the most agreed on name in most of the games. The most direct japanese translation is hiploop, though. I prefer hiploop, it makes less sense therefore it's more likely the in-character term. ...Like calling a bat a keese.
