Cieszy serce, ze to nasi wspaniali, młodzi, wrażliwi ludzie. Muzyka nie zginie. Lubię tą orkiestrę, która gra z pasją i wyczuciem i jest pięknie prowadzona.
This piece is one of my most favorites, soul stirring and nearly violent at times. This great piece being performed by my most favorite orchestra, the top tier performers, the youth of Poland. I never tire of listening to these wonderful young people, bright and exciting youth.
This is by far the best performance of this piece on TH-cam. Amazing work by the conductor and players, they really captured the emotions in the moment, to the point where I was picturing the story in my head as I listened.
Five years ago I heard and saw the Japanese high school orchestra in Carnegie Hall.. Like these youngsters they were superb. It does my heart good to see so many fine young people all over the world work so hard to preserve the classics
Un'insieme molto affiatato sono molto bravi,è un piacere vederli e sentirli suonare, sono strepitosi. Il violoncello i violini ecc fanno venire i brividi. molto bravi sinceramente appagante:
I was just having the thought, Why is the view count on this so low? This is a remarkable performance and production. As good as any on the web. I guess the Poles really care about their young people.
I enjoy watching/listening to youth orchestras, and this is one of the best. Sure, they may make a mistake here and there, but I find they play with verve and enthusiasm that older professionals tend to lose over time. I will chose enthusiasm and love of music over soulless perfection every time. I know this is several years after this was performed, and they have all moved on by now, but I hope at least some will read the comments and know how much I appreciate them and what they did.
I'm Jeff Zabelski and would have loved being a youth in this orchestra, . I'm performing this as Principal Oboist in the Paradise Symphony in Jan 2020. I was in the El Camino Youth Symphony in 1969 or '70...Bay Area San Francisco. Thanks dad, Joe Zabelski pianist, who taught Paul Hindemith's classes of harmony, as a student pianist. Now, still I'm an oboist, who turned pages for him at 8 years old. I love Polish food. Gourmet Polish food all my life is almost and equal to this Polish Orchestra. The energy and spirit of youth, is capturing passion at any moment, now, again. Conductor tells you, you don't have to sound like anyone else ...it's yours. Music should be taken this seriously everywhere, and always.
Okay!...I've heard this a long time ago, somewhere. A neat composition that easily gets anyone with some age (like me) remembering some of the classic old movies that had a religious theme to it. (One of the best composers of cinema in this: Miklos Rosza. - sorry...my computer keyboard is only good for English. Don't have the accent on Rosza's name) This is my third time seeing the Polish Youth Symphony perform on TH-cam. I'm very impressed. After several years, I wonder if many of the "youth" went on to full time symphony work? Hope so.
Tom Foster. As l always put it 'The talented youth of Poland' are brilliant. I myself have in my 'Akademia file' 62 videos, running for 12hrs,51mins & 37secs, believe me, l counted it. A file l recommend all fans of this site should have. One of those videos is 'Alexander Borodin:' Prince Igor, Polovtsian Dances' conducted by Andrzef Kucybala. The young lady you see playing the oboe, is Alicja Matuszczyk. Today, this young lady is the principal oboe player of a national radio orchestra in Poland. You should check this video out. I promise, you will enjoy it. I hope that this answers your latter question. I am pretty sure there are more of course. You will have to enquire with Akademia Filmu for further information. Hope that that this helps.
@@robertmcqueen289 Thank You, Bob! Again as stated when I've watched the performances over the past year - this orchestra of young people is serious! They take their music instructions well for the honor of their selves, family, and nation. I have enjoyed watching the individual performers and can, at times, see that emotion they put out in, especially, the solos. If I ever were to visit Poland, this orchestra would be one to watch practice or perform.
@@tsf5-productions. Well said Sir. Agree with you 1 million percent. The last item about seeing the talented youth of Poland live l can tell you is on every persons bucket list who watch the videos. If l go, l hope the florist has plenty of stock. It won't after the concert is over.
Orchestra with a soul. Crisp conducting. World class

Bravo! From Massachusetts, USA
from 6:23 to the end is one of the best of musics ever written.
So true, just need more horn in my opinion
I agree, fast and dramatic. I listen in my car, but then I just want to floor the accelerator.

The last part , also based on the song " Touchia Zidane ". But in the Saint-Saens way.

What is that thing/instrument at 1:23?
those are a form of castanets as used in a symphonic orchestra.
@@alain1959 cool thanks!!! oboist here and that caught my eye, Polish too :)
Castanets
What is the name of the goddess who starts this beautiful music ???
Beautifully performed by Paulina Pilarska. Well done!
I really can't understand why any label don't release Saint Saens' box commemorating 100years after his death. Or maybe they are now planning I guess.
Wonderful!
What is that percussion instrument behind the trumpets?
castanets
@@AkademiaFilmuiTelewizji Really? I've not seen them played like that before.

Again I see the cute flautist. Hope she went on to get a position with senior orchestra
cet orchestre est il toujours en fonction ?
Oui.
I'm sure the flautist on this recording plays the piccolo on other films.
