This choreo was amazing, they emulate so much of the lyrics and the charisma is on high. I really enjoyed that the 3 chorus bits involved different choreo change-ups totally agree in some songs like this it makes a whole lot of difference where as a package M/V, vocals, raps, facial expressions and the dance choreo itself were all phenomenal, and I believe included alot of time and effort.
Making this one to remember.

Studio Choom is a well respected youtube dance channel owned by Mnet. Artists are invited to perform, and it is a level of achievement in their career to have this happen. A quick google suggests only BTS and Blackpink have not performed on a Studio Choom video, likely becasue YG has declined the invitations in favour of their own promotions.
Studio Choom videos are known for dramatic lighting and camera moves as well as 4k video production. We can likely count on member-specific fancam videos being released soon too. While this is an exciting piece of recognition for XG and Simon in the industry, it is almost a significant piece of promotion as Studio Choom has 4.77 million followers on youtube and a reach far beyond that.
To go a bit deeper, Studio Choom and Mnet are owned by CJ Group and while at K-Con LA, XG was invited to the box of the vice-chairwoman of CJ Group after their performance and subsequently taken out for Korean BBQ. While I'm sure this was good fun for the girls, I believe it was superb networking time for Simon. XG promotes a UN girls' education initiative that is sponsored by CJ Group. Seeing the girls appear on Studio Choom gives me increasing hope that they will get a stage at MAMA (also owned by Mnet and CJ Group) as the awards show is being staged in Tokyo at the Tokyo Dome (50-55k seats). This would be an exceedingly exciting milestone for the group.
Oh wow that sounds awesome! Yeah the quality is amazing here, both in the lighting and the camera work so this was super cool. Proud of them for reaching yet another milestone! I had no idea this Studio Choom concept was such a big deal but after watching this I get it!

You were right about the volleying of the rap lines between Maya and Amy. I also love that part where they focus on the members singing their ad-libs towards the end.
Each pre-chorus and chorus choreography are always different. That’s why their dancing is never boring.

I first noticed in New Dance when she sings and it was awesome! I was annoyed because so many reactors seemed to not notice she was doing vocals. So talented. I just didn't realize from the MV that she was singing on this one so I'm glad it was highlighted here. She deserves the recognition!

Hi, sorry to take so long to answer. Their move #1 came out before their debut “ Tippy Toes” and before the “Extra Extra” documentary. Shows how their dancing is so on point with the facial expressions. I’ve been checking them out since their beginning and their the real deal for going to the top. Have you checked their “Chill Bill” and their “Galz Xypher” (yes, that’s the spelling). In the “Xypher” the first rapper is Cocona, 16 who went viral big time on Tick Tock. If you want any more suggestions just give a call out. I could give you some more suggestions for EXO and Kai (and many other groups) but I don’t want to take up too much of your time. Enjoy!
Please react to bts :) if you love rap you’ll love them. They are originally a hip hop group but their company decided to debut them as an idol group in 2013. They are the biggest artists in the world right now. They were taught by some of the biggest legends in hip hop warren g and coolio on their show together back in 2015 (American hustle life). Rm and Suga were underground rappers before becoming part of bts. Rm is the leader and the first member of bts, he’s the main writer for their songs but they all pitch in on all of their music. Suga (aka August D) was the second member and he’s the main producer of the group and he’s even produced songs for other artists. J hope is the third member of the group and also the third rapper, he was originally a hip hop dancer but he learned rap as a trainee. Jin is a vocalist and the oldest of the group. Jungkook is the youngest and he’s the main vocalist and usually at the center of their acts. V is a vocalist and part of the dance line that includes (jhope, jimin, v, and jungkook). Jimin was the last to join and he’s a vocalist and a dancer, he’s studied contemporary dance and majored in modern dance and was the top of his class.
They produce, compose, and write their own music. They all can dance and are amazing performers. As of today they have won over 1000 awards in the past 10 years. They spoke 3 times at the UN. They were the first kpop group to break into America and sell bigger than western artists, they are global.
If you like rap I recommend these songs: Born singer, Mic drop (Steve aoki remix), Daechwita (August D), Ugh (rap line), Cypher series, ddaeng, More (jhope), Joke by Rm (their isn’t subtitles on the official video but it’s basically a song about dissing “fake” rappers and laughing at them for discrediting him).
I’m sorry for the long comment I just really appreciate them, I have many more recommendations because they have over 300 songs but I don’t want to overwhelm you lmao.
Do you think XG will still be XG if Hikaru joins the groups after the Kepler project concludes? I’m a bit mixed. I know she trained with them up until the final selection and they’re all tremendously great friends. I just feel something will be taken away from someone as they perform the songs created before Hikaru. I’m being selfish. I know we’ll get used to it over time. Just wondering….. Thanks!!
I haven't seen Extra Extra (I thought I might do it like reactions but I don't know if people would want to see that) but I do know about the rumor that there is someone who might join. I am so happy you asked because I wasn't sure I liked that idea! I don't know her so maybe I need to watch the Extra Extra but I agree that I would be worried. Does it mean someone gets less time to sing or rap? I would be pretty sad about that to be honest. That being said if the XG members want it and it will make them happy I would obviously be open minded and like you said, we would definitely get used to it. But I would be a little concerned like you! Great question thank you for being here with me!

This was discussed many times. Hikaru will not join XG. She might do a solo or XGALX will form another group
Hikaru will not be joining XG but she could go back to XGALX and Lead a new group or go solo.
