Messi is the only player I’ve ever seen that can beat a player and make them fall over and completely destroy them without actually touching the ball. GOAT.
He is so good at turning players inside out. He changes direction so quickly and changes pace, like he sprints forward, then slows down, then sprints forward again and catches the player off guard. He is so unpredictable and his control and skill are insanely high. He doesn't have a set of certain tricks he always uses, he makes it up as he goes depending on the situation. Of course he does have his common skills: body fients, la croqueta, nutmegs, etc but he doesn't use any fancy tricks he just uses pure dribbling. Pace, control, awareness, vision, balance - Messi has it all at a level above everyone else. #GOAT
