I wouldn't pay 20k for a dog if I won the freekin Powerball.😂😂 Good analogy about the rifle, but the problem with that is I can shoot just as many or more deer with the Wal-Mart rifle as I could with some custom tricked out rifle that I paid fifteen times as much and I don't want it to get scratched. It won't give you 15 times the performance, just like that 20k dog won't give you 80 times the performance.
And then the hound rubs your feet after the hunt! There's big money in bloodlines and champion-level dogs, for sure. Especially if you look out East with coonhounds and whatnot, it's wild.

I guess you only live once, but I could think of a million other things to sink 20k or more inti than a dog. Maybe if I was raising them and knew for sure I had buyers, but good Lord I would be terrified I made a bad investment all along the way...lol
