I normally hate listening to Baha'i talks, but this is a huge exception. Back in the 1980's I remember being lonely and depressed. Lying supine on the carpet, I listened to this talk on an old cassette tape recorder. I was shaken to my very bones at the power of this eyewitness to Baha'u'llah. He clearly had been kept alive by Baha'u'llah in order to give this address at the Congress. The way that he and Marzieh Gail interacted, he speaking a foreign language and she interpreting, enhanced and amplified his impassioned words. When the Hand spoke, such was his passion that by the end I was trembling like a leaf; an experience like none other in my life. Hearing it again here, after all these years, the effect is not diminished.

It would have been a pleasure to talk to Baha'u'llah and know what he felt was his place in the evolution of faith. Was he the next messenger or a return of the Christ ? I get confused from listening to all the directions from which he is spoken.
