And that cutscene is on dmc 1/2/3 (of your choice) engine with the original models. Why? Because it sounds similar to the original 3 games in which composers only used samples and synthesizers.

"Secret love, bloodline yearns." Although Vergil sees the light at the end of the tunnel, he has no choice but to bury it deep under the feelings of wrath and vengeance from his past. As much he yearns for the life he could have had, he must cast away those dreams because he knows he can never go back. Thinking like that gives the lyrics a different meaning: not one where he has made a choice to stay on the path he has always walked, where he chooses to walk alone, but instead telling us that he *can't* go back even if he wants to.

No matter how many times I hear this it still makes me almost cry cause it hits the right notes of how Vergil likely felt for about 40 some years since the death of his mother, same with Dante two characters whose emotional states are utterly destroyed and the only coping mechanism is their paths and current personalities

A voice of a little girl speaks out and breaks the silence.
"Grand Uncle Dante?"

"Who's graves are these?"
There is silence for a moment.
"Well, it's a long story. I'm sure you'll know it all when you're older but... My father, mother, and my brother were laid to rest here."
"...Does it hurt? Daddy said it hurts when people you love die."
"Well... It does. A lot... But I think I've made peace with it."
A small tear falls from one of Dante's eyes.
"..."
"And just a quick question, where the hell's your dad? Can't be as much of a dead weight as his old man, can he?"
"I dunno. But he told me his job is very hard and he'll be busy for a long while"
"...Yeah. I can confirm that. When you see him again tell him uncle Dante says hi, and that he should visit some time."
The little girl smiles.
"Ok!"

Come back for his root momment, bro grains power to protect the one he hold dear
Mundus has reached his final form, with unimaginable power. He creates a portal which pulls in and seals everything into the Cosmic Void , and will forever be trapped and enslaved by the Prince Of Darkness. Dante and Vergil in their SDT forms proved no match for Mundus.
As Trish and Lady carries the gravely wounded Dante into Nico's truck, Nero rushes towards Vergil's aid, convincing him to come with the group. As Vergil watches Nero running towards him, something in him awakened. Something he buried inside for a very long time, now emerges from the void of his being. It was affection. The feeling that he had long been deprived of ever since the death of his mother.
Glancing over at the truck, Vergil sees the bloodied up Dante, and another glance, he sees Mundus's towering form slowly approaching him, as if toying with his prey. Clutching at his wound with his left hand, while his right uses the Yamato to stand himself up, he quickly slices the ground using Judgement Cut, leaving a large gap between him and Nero. Nero stops in his track, his face expressing a look of confusion and panic.
"Wha..What are you doing?? Are you insane??" - Nero shouted
Remaining fixated on Mundus, Vergil coldly replied :"Leave me and go, you'll stand no chance against Mundus. This is my fight, I'll close that portal with the Yamato, and then, he will face me."
"Like hell, I'll fight with you!! Don't play the cool guy, Vergil!! DO YOU HEAR ME, DAMMIT??" - Nero growls desparately.
Mundus's steps are getting ever so louder, his Demonic voice cackling , while the portal is pulling more and more things into it.
"Nero! Vergil! what the hell are ya'll waiting for?? Get in the truck!!" - Nico yelling from her driver seat, while slamming her hands against the door.
"No, you guys go ahead, I'm staying with him!!" - Nero yells back.
Nico shakes her head profusely - "What the hell am I supposed to say to Kyrie if you ended up dead?? Don't be stupid!"
"For once, I'll agree with a human." - Vergil says to Nero, his voice remains stoic.
"SHUT UP !! I PROMISED TO MYSELF THAT I WON'T LET YOU AND DANTE DIE!! I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!" - Nero using everything in his power to belt out that sentence. Vergil could hear Nero's voice seemingly on the verge of tears. That's when he slowly turned his head to the right, his eye meeting Nero's.
"You carry the blood that belongs to a son of Sparda, along with his pride. I know you have an offspring with that human Kyrie .I will not let you tarnish Sparda's legacy by dying here. So don't make me wipe those tears off your face."
"I'm not crying, I'm serious about this!!" - Nero begins to tear up uncontrollably, his hands forming into tight fists.
Flashing back to that moment when he was grieving for the loss of his parents, he whispered : "When he lost those he cared about, even a Devil may cry."
Vergil turns towards Mundus, now dangerously close to the group. Without hesitation, Vergil leap towards Mundus and performs a Judgement Cut End so powerful that it stunted Mundus. Vergil uses the opportunity to push himself and Mundus into the Portal, with the intention of sealing it from the inside.
Before Nero could react, he hears Vergil calling out his name . Surprised, Nero could only look at his direction towards his father.
"When Dante recovers, continue to fight him in my place." said Vergil , with a hint of pride and approval in his voice, before Sheating the Yamato into his scabbard, resulting in an extremely powerful white flash of blinding light, even catching the attention of the semi-conscious Dante.
When the light dims, all that's left is the rubble of the city and an empty skyline, where Mundus and Vergil used to be.
Nero slumped onto the ground, helplessly sobbing and violently pounding the surface of the ground . The intense emotion caused him to transform in and out of his DT form, while screaming "WHY? WHYY?? WHYYYY????"
Nico cautiously gets out of the truck and towards Nero, and gently lifts him up and guide him back into the vehicle.
Dante, now has gained back a bit more consciousness, immediately popped up. But he could feel that something has happened to his brother. Saddened by the fact that he has lost Vergil yet again, Dante could only shake his head and let out a huge sigh.
Picture this! *Mundus returns!!* It's a chaotic battle with the Prince of Darkness, the Sons of Sparda have grown not only in strength but in unity since they last encountered the man responsible for their divide, but the Lord of the Underworld's wrath is unstoppable. Their combined might simply is not enough, Mundus' ascent to the human world is inevitable, so Vergil acts fast and opens a portal to the humans, commanding Dante to enter.
Dante: "Like hell I will, I'm gonna finish what I started!"
Vergil: "I used to clean up your messes all the time, brother... Now go!!"
Vergil separates a void to create another portal that goes even deeper into the Underworld, using his Devil Trigger to knock Mundus into the underworld portal. Dante hesitates to return to the human world, looking back at his brother.
Dante: "You better come back, I'm not looking after your kid forever."
Vergil: "That's now how my story ends, Dante. I've always embraced the darkness. You were the one always trying to drag me into the Light no matter how hard I tried to bury it. Neither of us can stop Mundus, we both know that. It's time for a new era."
Dante smirks, the brothers share a look of mutual respect as they say in unison: "Jackpot" a beautiful shot of Vergil descending into a endless void of black as Dante goes in the opposite direction towards a beacon of light. All while this music plays.
(Yes this is a rough idea typed on the spot strictly from imagination. Don't need critics over a fucking TH-cam Comment, just having some fun.

In a viscous battled, the sons of sparda duel one final time. Using his katana, the Yamato, Virgil performs the judgement cut, destroying his enemies guns and hands.
Virgil has defeated a corrupted Dante. His brothers seemingly lifeless body in his arms. With a single crimson tear, Virgil mounds his family for the first time in years. Virgil sword He would never cry, because tears are for weak and fragile humans. Or so He thought. His body, exhausted from combat and overwhelmed with emotion. As the year flowed so did his eulogy to his fallen sibling.
"He took everything from us little brother. He, Mundus, took out father from us, took out mother. But what's hurts most, even with all this power, I couldn't protect you. If only I had been strong enough to bring you back to the light!'
Virgil takes the other half of amulet from Dantes neck. "Mother, Father.....your sons are reunited again.....in your honor, I will destroy Mundus"
Virgil looks at his brothers broken handguns. "Never liked these toys of yours, but I'll use them for you." Wielding them into one, the handle and trigger of ebony and the slide and barrel of Ivory, with fire from his demon power heritage and the focus of his mother's humanity and love. Virgil gives this pistol a spin and a single test shot!
Virgil smiles in satisfaction..... "Jackpot"

Vergil and Dante team up againts a demon king. The king destroys Rebellion and attacks Dante with an attack that powerful that it would kill him, Vergil yells: "Dante, look out!". Jumps infront of him and defends Dante, he is able to subdue the king, but falls on his knees and in Dante's arms. "Vergil, are you ok?", "Please, take the Yamato, and give it to Nero.". Dante smiles: "What about me?", Vergil laughs and coughs: "like you haven't enough swords.". Vergil coughs: "Please bury me next to our mother.", a tear escapes one Dante's eye "Come on Vergil, we can still save you." Vergil coughs blood: "Tell Nero that i love him." Dante tears: "I'll make sure they'll remember youas a hero." Vergil smiles: "what did we used to say?", "Jackpot." they say togheter. Vergil takes his last breath and dies. Dante starts to cry: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!". Rage takes over his body and he transforms in a stronger form than SDT. The king starts getting up. "You.", "You'll pay for THIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSS!" Dante goes berserk and charges againt king and shreds him into pieces.
Years later...
Dante and Nero's son stand at Vergil's and Eva's grave while It's sunset.
The boy says: "Granduncle, who's grave is this?" points at Vergil's grave. "That was my brother and your grandfather, he wasn't always good man, but he saved my life." Tear escapes Dante's eye. The boy ask: "Dose it hurt losing him?". "Yeah, it does a lot, but everything comes to an end, even us.". Small pause: "The sword you use." The boy looks at Yamato: "Yeah, What's with it." Dante smiles: "It was named Yamato and he used it, he asked me to give it to your father when he was dying in my arms before you were born. So i did. And now you wield it. Promise me you take a good care of it." The boy pulls Yamato out and looks at his reflection in it: "I will." he says and starts tearing too. Dante puts his arm on boy's shoulder and says: "when you use it, his power follows you, use it for saving those who can't fight for themselves." The boy looks up at him and says: "Ok". Kyrie leans out of the window: "Dinners ready". Both of them look behind and Dante says: "Come on then, dinner's ready" and they go inside.
