Yes Pattaya was very crowded ...but here in Melbourne was the same with fireworks and 100.000 thousand people around the river. Very nice hotel there for the price. Normally I stay in two star hotels around 700 baht/night. As long as it's clean, has AC and hot shower, provides bottled water, and maid service cleaning, it's all good.
