When I first heard this song [Living Out Loud] I immediately fell in love with it because it brought back 'fond memories' of one of my 'all time' favorite 'football highlites' shows called 'This Week In Pro Football' which was hosted by Pat Summerall and Charlie Jones and featured all the week's football action set to 'Jazz Music'. It aired in the 70's and the NFL Producers always had great music to go along with the film. I don't know if I ever heard 'this' song by Joyce Cooling but it would have been 'perfect' for "NFL Films' as they showed great plays from the great games of the week. Thanks Ms Cooling, you are 'great'.
NFL Films did have excellent music by Sam Spence for the 70's NFL highlight shows and "This Week in Pro Football ". Joyce and Jay's music would have been great for that show.
Wow - the misting up thing is a sure sign that you were reached - love that - same thing happens to me when music or whatever hits me. Honored to have been in this category for you!! :-)
I just discovered this INCREDIBLE piece of music one day ago. Trying times these last two years. Been out of touch. Joyce Cooling, your amazing groove style first came into my life back during the summer of 1999. I've been devoted since. I'm 63 and a proud lover of the best of deep smooth jazz grooves. This tune is sooo sunset to my heart and ears. I just can't get enough of this. "This Girl's gotta keep playing." (You!) Thank You. 🌹💛
I've been a jazz lover ever since I watched the movie New York, New York when I was a little boy with my mom. This is one of the freshest tune I've heard in a long time. Thanks Joyce your song is like a cool drink of water on a hot day in Cocoa Beach, Fla.
It is the afternoon; Christmas Eve. I was in the kitchen making some homemade air fried onion rings - hooked my iPhone up to the stereo in the living room, clicked on the jazz albums list, and ‘Save This Dance For Me’ came on. 10 or so repeat plays later, went to my office and computer room to look up the cut on TH-cam. I am a photographer and an aspiring, serious, jazz guitarist, but computer graphics tutoring has kept me away from those first loves for a number of years. When I enlarged the Global Cooling album cover to full screen, I was greatly inspired by the melodic audio sounds from your guitar playing, as well as the exquisite beauty of you as portrayed by the photographer’s set and your your pose. I was energized to restart both my jazz guitar journey, and my studio photography, ’thank you very much’! Of course I have subscribed to your channel & will stay tuned. The very best to you and Jay. Very Metheny esque style with some 70s retro and a killer drum part. I love Jay's solo. I wound up playing this song the rest of the day. Tonight at my piano bar gig, I opened with a jam version of this tune. It wasn't perfect yet but I'm going to get it down just right (I have perfect pitch)...If you ever come down to Florida, I would love nothing more than to meet you and perhaps jam with you. I could make a video of me playing the song for you once I get it down probably within the next few days. Hope to hear back from you both!!
#NOWandthen #smoothjazz

I've been a professional piano player almost 40 years. I heard this today on Watercolors and I was thinking who the hell is this? This song and jam and chords and arrangement are exactly up my alley.
I love this, it's so relaxing
