    Loved the video - by far my favorite food vlogger along with his lovely gf. Even besides from the food, these two just have such a genuine, comforting presence. Can’t wait to see more from them. ❤️

    For any vegans reading this: Gauthier Soho in London is well worth checking out. It's run by a chef who was formerly Michelin-starred then made the decision to go all vegan. It's not a Michelin starred restaurant but it is very good and their full tasting menu is less than £100.

    I loved this video ♥️ it didn’t feel like I was watching something fake and super scripted. The only thing I didn’t love was how hungry I got 😂 fortunately I made some of Andre’s homemade ricotta gnocchi so I will eat that to curb my cravings. I can’t wait to see what you create after this wonderful experience !

    I always thought Arpège was the first 3 starred restaurant where you could have an all vegan courses menu.

      They didn’t have a vegan menu when we went there but I must say it was really veg forward :)
      Also it is still my favourite 3 stars I have been to this day even though I tried few more!

    I would try it for the experience however I don't know how I feel about vegan food, honestly I don't think of vegan as fine dining lol

    OK.... So I watched your video and then I watched it again.
    Let me tell you that the absolute best part of your Eleven Madison Park video was your beautiful girlfriend, 1,000 times better than the food.
    $1,150 dollars for that restaurant...... Not a chance. He tried to introduce this concept in London and he was out on the street, no one wanted it. The price of this experience is a total piss take, the food isn't impressive and not a single course caught my attention.
    A firm thumbs down to EMP .
    I have Chefs cookbook , it's stunning and the food is a total delight. I really don't understand why a 3 Michelin starred chef would ever make this move in one of the world's best restaurants. It was on my wish list for years..... But no more.

      To be honest we really liked the food and we didn't really feel like it was missing something. Ok it's not the best restaurant we have ever been in terms of food, but it's in the top 10 for sure. Also the service was top notch for me they really made us feel welcomed and included.
      Said so was it too expensive for what's being served? Probably yes, I couldn't not agree. Altough I do think that if they managed to create enough hype for people to actually pay for it, then why not.
      They are in NYC and people would pay anything in this city. 🤪🤪

      Just go back a couple of years when they made the change to vegan. The food was totally different than it is now. Lots of effort went into every dish and some of the dishes were really special and spectacular ( for a vegan). They currently seem to have toned it down and got a bit lazy.
      Anyway....I shall treasure my EMP cookbook with the totally amazing photos, lots of meat, foie gras , fish , stunning duck and and game to feast upon.

    EMP if very good!! Definitely not the best or most innovative vegan food in NYC but the service is second to none. Still, severely over-priced IMO especially since tax + tip isn't included anymore which basically adds an extra 30% to the bill.
    The overall palette of the food is too much salt and a few dishes are pretty bland or even disappointing. The fish scale technique used over and over is very tired and lacks innovation. Worth trying once though and will definitely go back at least for cocktails and snacks or a la carte but probably never again for tasting menu.
    Honestly, most restaurants in NYC aren't worth it though since so few get food, service, and atmosphere to align for the high prices they charge.

      Hey Matt,
      I had such a cool experience at EMP!
      Definitely the dishes weren't all the best of the best I ever tried but I did really enjoy most of them.
      I think that the atmosphere and the service, help raising diners mood, making it kinda "taste better".
      Personally I never had such a welcoming and inclusive experience as I had at EMP.
      I do agree with you about the price..it is really really high, said so the floor was pretty full meaning that apparently they can find their clientele even at such high prices. (My thoughts are, if that helps paying the staff better, having a community kitchen serving people in need, maybe why not?)
      Can I ask you which vegan restaurant in NYC you'd say it's better than Eleven Madison? I'd love to try it next time I'm in the city. Or if you have any other NYC restaurant raccomandations I would really appreciate them too! I loved my time there and I am eager to come back at some point.
