This brings back memories. What was the name of the brake system they had on these bikes?

      it's called cantilever brakes: www.sheldonbrown.com/gloss_ca-g.html#cantilever

I really hate to setup the canti brakes.

@@behb3425 Yeah, I know that, but Cannondale had it's own version with a copper colored wheel the wires ran on. Force-something? Not Force 40, but like this: image.jimcdn.com/app/cms/image/transf/dimension=1920x400:format=jpg/path/s523b628f9fa66a2b/image/i9f2f04383a7e8a3b/version/1468871707/image.jpg

@@vidarg75 oh, I see, there was a Force 40 Plus cable thing, which is in your link, and this rolling cable thing which is in this video. I've found this:
      www.bikerecyclery.com/nib-nos-cannondale-force-40-cantilever-brake-roller-cam-upgrade-kit-brass-sealed-bearing/
"NIB/NOS Cannondale Force 40 Cantilever Brake Roller Cam Upgrade Kit: Brass - Sealed Bearing
These are a sealed-bearing upgrade the 1st gen brass "cable yokes/cams" from Cannondale's Force-40 canti brake system. They came stock with no bearing systems which weren't as smooth.
This version of the Force 40 system was stock on very early 1990's Cannondale mountain bikes, such as the M2000, Delta V2000, and SE Omega.
These kits contain all hardware associated with the rollers for front and rear. Does NOT include the cable guide piece, though we have one pair for sale HERE
      www.bikerecyclery.com/nos-cannondale-force-40-brake-roller-cam-cable-stops-1st-gen-pair/
They can be used with most cantilever brakes, and provide improved power, modulation, and smoothness over standard cable carriers. Quite tough to find!"

I have that same bike but I made her a single speed, ungraded the brakes & installed low profile BMX bars.
