I've found the tip squishes a tiny bit but not too bad (with my heavy hand at least) and the colours are so so lovely! I love felt tips for teacher duties because they have a nice broad line that shows up well if I'm photographing work to share with students. My current favorites are flairs, but maybe I'll try these next! I combat consumerism by trying to buy open stock supplies instead of sets. It's sometimes more expensive but if I consider the fact that I never use certain colors (like yellow) in a set, it works out. Also less packaging and I can try just one of an item to see if I like it.
I appreciate that you make the statement of asking ourselves " Will I use this? Do I need this?" I personally have been asking myself those questions and it has helped a lot as far as my crafting budget. Thank you for being so frank and honest Cindy.
Honestly like the dark set the best. Probably because it's the one with the most usable colors for writing. The last set seems really nice for coloring, though.
Man those darks are so pretty! I really hope they come out with some smaller packs of blue and black or multipacks of black, blue, blueblack. The fact that they don’t smudge with mild liners is key for me along with the click. I just like the sound, and the fact that I don’t have to worry about losing the cap. Would be super interested in how quickly they dry out, and if the loop would be able to hold it to a fabric pen loop (hubs and I both have arc notebooks that we use for work/planning)

I LOVE my ClickArt pens...but one HEADS-UP, I use the Hobonichi Cousin as my daily planner/art journal and these dry slowly on the Tomoe River paper Hobonichi uses...I still use them, but I just have to be careful (I'm a lefty)!
When the pens i have die finally, these may be what i replace them with because i am also a click fiend, if it makes a noise i prefer it over a regular cap pen

I just got an 18 pack of these on clearance at BJ's-- my husband saw them and knows I like felt tip pens. Looks like it's a selection of 6 from each of the sets you have. I'm only bummed there's not a regular purple in my set. (There's lavender and magenta.) Thanks for the review!

JetPens has them too. Still pricey to Canada but not as bad as Amazon from what I’ve heard. You might find them from other sources too that are less pricey.

I have Mildliners in violet and lavender, and I'd like to see if they matched the ClickArt, especially since the names aren't matching up. Lavender's UPC code ends in -580484 and violet is -401789.
Hrmmm so there’s a mechanism that closes the tip when not clicked? if the ink “never dries out” (as they say), why would they need this mechanism? Was wondering if I might be able to take one of the refills and pop it in a capless big I design pen that takes any refill…but I guess it would dry out?

I love clicky pens! I also love my mild liners. I have some lepens I was gifted and I have sharpie fine liners. I love them both but yeah the caps are a bother. Also the lepens are skinny. I may check these out one day when I get through my other stuff. It's so hard to not buy the things 😁
I don't own these pens but water based in general don't do well on black paper. Acrylographs are paint based like Posca pens which is why they perform well on different coloured paper.
