I used to work on historic sailing ships (Mystic Seaport) and with the right people involved, you can pull all the masts with what you have at hand. No cranes needed. Imagine my surprise when I saw you pull a track with the bucket. I love machines that can do surgery on itself. 👍👍

I believe that 27C is actually a Yanmar machine. Maybe Hitachi, but I'm pretty sure Yanmar at least had a big influence. Not actually made by Deere its a rebrand. Made in Japan

Because he wanted to use the bucket to pull the tracks? Also if you take both sides off at once you only need to make one trip to the parts store. Heat the oven one time when you find the tensioner blocks have been eroded and bent and needs repair. Doing two parts at the same time is faster than doing two processes the same time.
Correct, I didn't have the stock and it was a quick fix with all the right tools. Took about 30 minutes start to finish and the longest part of that was heating and cooling.

Dude im home 2 weeks a year. Thats all the vacation I get. Sad part is those two weeks aren't together they are spread out over the year

Why worry about the welds on that block? It's a rectangular block with 4 holes in it. Machine a new one
