@@farmflix not a clue why this English spark is watching ag videos, love the likes of Welkers, mnmilinal ect but I put my hand in my pocket to watch Clyde farms
@@farmflix the scene at the end of the last one were Alan is sat there looking at two dead calves with old Tom looking down. Sums up farming in one scene! Well done 👏
Keep filming the old characters they're not here forever. If they're on film they kind of are here forever. And they always have a unique way of looking at things. I have enjoyed watching auld Tom and Alan through the year, genuine folk trying to get on.
these lads are the some of the only farmers I can relate to, showing the reality of farming is so important, me and my dad have only just recovered from loosing all our livestock, equipment and the farm itself and are starting to gradually build ourselves back up on a new farm, seeing a father and his son reacting the same to a loss reminds me that all farmers have similar struggles and somehow we all pull through.
im quite new to ye all but theres a lot i can relate to ...father and son , daily struggles, theres touching moments i recognise and all i can say is keep it up , more of Tom and Alan and someday Alan, someday..good things happen to good people. all the best folks
Agriculture life with Alan and Tom is brilliant, great to see the passion they have for farming, it's fucking cruel when you lose an animal because its one you will be close to
Aul Toms closeing seen in Ag life series where he talks about loving the job ya nearly wouldn’t need video footage to listen to him 👌🏻👌🏻to give Alan full credit to let ye post that day with the calves and the cow I don’t think there s another farmer that would have the balls to let it ye documented it and thats not to say that all us farmers haven’t had those days so for that I take my hat off to aul Tom and Alan keep up the good work 👍🏻
Your right John, you do manage to get those hard moments. I guess that’s because your a friend as well as a boss to Alan which makes it easier to film. Gotta love the ol lads as well, ol Tom has his experiences and there great to hear 👍
I know feeling of Al n having father with like Tom, no different as my father 74, doesn’t plan n struggle understand the way we see farming but I couldn’t do without dad as I work someone else but when I have holidays I am at home to help with busy times. But having John he not just boss but mate, mentor that will have lasting effect for rest of life these people are hard come buy. Wouldn’t mind big farm but rather be efficient n best times with dad is going field days n explaining why this piece farm machinery/equipment will be good for the farm without telling what cost is but end cost like the time he will save.
you never know what could happen in the future, but if enough people support our main site we will be able to show more of him on youtube www.farmflix.tv/

Quality content as always lads... I'm a wannabe farmer however never had the chance nor the land and farm to get involved & there don't come much chance to get experience on a farm without that or knowing the contacts to even help someone. The channel you guys have & content you publish is fantastic & gives me a good insight into the real life on a farm... Ps Tom is better crack than Alan (wee jokes) Keep up the great work FarmFlix
8:20, I can definitely see where ye both were coming from, it's never easy losing one animal, never mind 2, people deal with grief differently and dont beat yourself up about not being able to take the joke after what happened, if that wouldn't put you in a bad mood I dunno what would
Great series and shows the ups and downs of farming. I love how well the 2 of them get on and then when they don’t; they couldn’t see other far enough!! 🤣 some day Alan will look back and say “I wonder what Tom would have done in this situation”.
