I'm 45 yrs old and I own a 2016 Tri-Glide. Love the stability and plenty of room for cargo!! We took a long distance trip this past summer (i was the only Trike)...we hit a windy ass day...the 2 wheeled guys were getting blown all over, but not me. Absolutely LOVE this cycle.
Just purchased a used 2016 Trike with 4,000 miles on it. I am 70 years old and have been riding since I am 9 years old. My wife and I love to ride but two wheels no longer fit our riding needs which was a ultra Dresser, soooo we decided to purchase a trike to continue our riding for many years to come. Thank you Harley Davidson for manufacturing such a great bike and thank you Matt for a great video kept them coming....Charles...
Had bikes for more than 40 years now this is my second harley and my first tg . I can honesty tell u tgs are just fine . I'm 65 now and could tell the heavy 2 wheelers wed getting to be too much. The tg has eliminates all the handling issued I was starting to have with 2 wheelers. takes a bit of getting use to but thats fine. The tg is more than i expected. Really
If only they would be abit more reasonable with the price tag . I would Love to get one , but now I am retired and am on a limited income , just pension .
Bought my 2017 TG in October 2016. Lovin' it more every day. Rode 2 wheels for years and have not looked back since October. Completely satisfied with my TG. And by the way. I am not physically restricted to 3 wheels at all. just enjoy 3 better than 2 now. In October, took it to the mountain twisties in NC and TN. So much fun on the curves and I ride more aggressive on the TG than I ever did on 2 wheels. It handled any curve with stability and speed. Highly recommend the TG to anyone, regardless of age.
I just purchased a 2017 with 11,000 miles on it. I sold my ultra classic five years ago after a stroke and open heart surgery. It's not the same but it got me back on the road. I love it, and it handles the wind in North Dakota much better than a two wheeler.
Matt I know this is an older review but I am buying a 2017 triglide from a dealer here in Tennessee with only 1500 miles on it. And you have helped me out with a lot of things I never knew. I have been riding 46 years and my knees said it's time to trim glide! Thank you sir
by the way, great review!! Once again, I'm 45 years old. I lift weights 5 days a week...I'm in perfect health. The point is, I view these cycles as safer and funnier to ride. When I rode my older 2-wheeled bike, I was constantly "tense" all the time. The Trike gives you tremendous stability and (for me), allows me to just relax and enjoy the ride!
I think they're a great option for those who want to continue on after their physical ability to ride two wheelers has passed. But, I could never transition into one as long as I was still able to safely ride my two wheeler.
I'm turning 18 soon. I've always wanted a Tri-Glide. My dad wanted one since I was a little kid and always talked about it. Sadly he passed 2 years back so I've figured I should try my hardest to get one. That and I don't think I would have the knee strength to hold up a 2 wheeler. I was born with bad knees.
Purchased a new 2017 TriGlide this year (Nov2017). I had a pretty bad collision 5 years ago when a bus pulled out in front of me breaking my leg, nine ribs, multiple fractures to my collarbone, crushed right thumb, road rash, with damaged joints and tendons. 4 1/2 years of recovery and therapy. My leg which was broken just below the knee left my leg and knee weak and the crushed right thumb resulted in bone fragments being removed and a shorter thumb. I tried riding a two wheeler again but could not manage with my wife on the back. I relented to her wishes and bought the trike, OMFG, I love it! AND I am riding again!
These Tri Glides are awesome. Been a 2 wheeler for about 10 years now. I had an open heart surgery and my wife doesn't feel comfortable riding any more. Seriously looking at a tri glide now!
I own a 2012 Triglide love it thinking of upgrading best bike I have every owned. I rode it from Massachusetts to Grand Canyon last year 840 miles in one day never got tied I am 73 years old.
I just turned 50 this year and while age has little to do with it, I saw a ton of trikes at Sturgis this year. Between the rain, sand and uneven pavement where our hotel was, the ride was super sketchy loaded down heavy and riding 2up. I struggled a bit and while I can still manage, I was a tad envious of the trike riders. More storage, easier interstate travel and not having to worry about a low-speed spill has me looking more and more at a trike. Great review Matt. Thank you....
I'm 70 and couldn't handle a 2 wheeler anymore. Here, in Brazil, there is an engineer who is making the transformation in trikes. I had my Electra transformed and can tell you that it is fun! It looks like an imported (from USA) one and people in the street do not believe it was only a bike transformed. The engineer has already made 8 of them and now he is working on 2 others. Trikes are fun and easy to ride!!
Weve been Honda riders for 6yrs Vtx 1300s just bought a 2015 tri glide mint 9400miles...wife stopped riding over confidence, being a truck driver 24yrs has taken a toll on my spine and neck...im ahead of the curve a few years. Its been a week still learning the dials and buttons, it dies have air ride with a special (harley) pump sold separately 😂. Makes the ride alot smoother on bumps and slower speeds, over all wife loves it, so we can keep the wind in our faces....great video
I just bought a 2017 triglide yesterday almost exactly like this one. I passed my motorcycle course last August. Still need to perfect my shifting and get more comfortable on the open road but I believe it won't be long until I am great with this beauty!
I'm literally crying, I've managed to scrape together £2k in England, I'm determined that I will experience the open road on a motorbike of some description, I'm a huge fan of bobbers, choppers, crusiers and appreciate the trike machines soooo very much. Always been a biker chick even before had my first ride. I'm now disabled and fairly poorly but I *will* ride my own bike/trike 125cc, I've just done my CBT and had car licence anyway. Love love these machines.
Great review ! Having no experience riding two up and getting back into motorcycling after some thirty plus years, the Tri- Glide was the right choice. We have the 2014 model and the 103 engine has all the power we need. Thumbs up and Safe Travels .
Fantastic review. After having problems with the factory air shocks on my 2017 TriGlide, I upgraded to the Legends Revo-A and the lift bracket. They made a HUGE difference going over bridge joints, potholes, etc. The more I ride, the more I love this motorcycle. Can't wait to ride down the coast from WA to CA and then to Yellowstone this summer.
Great review. However, as a two time Tri-Glide owner, I wish you would have spent as much time, if not more, on the PRO's as you did on the CON's. PRO's such as:- Never worrying about dropping the bike, especially in parking lots with potholes or uneven surface;- Riding more safely on sandy roads, gravel and unpaved roads;- Carry a passenger more easily thanks to the third wheel..."she" can move all she wants without upsetting the bike's balance;- Riding it helps to keep the upper body moving and strong.All-in-all, I highly recommend the Tri-Glide.
But that’s the obvious thing isn’t it with all 3 wheelers ? I personally don’t see the point of riding a Trike. One could actually buy a car and roll down the windows and would still have 20 grand +bank balance , no? Where is the thrill of riding a 2 wheeler ??!!
@@lightice1387 The thrill or point is still being able to ride when you have a disability or some type of medical problem that would prevent riding a 2-wheeler. I think most riders are older people, but in my 20's I rode a trike with a VW engine and had just as much fun as a 2-wheeler, of which I have owned many.
Missus couldn't handle a two-wheel Harley but wanted to ride. Bought her a 2015 FreeWheeler. Really fun to ride. Like an ATC for the street you could say. Lots of power and SO much fun. I dig it. Great review of the TriGlide Ultra Matt!!
I just got this bike and enjoy it to no end. This is my first trike and it has taken me sometime to get to now how to ride it. I should have gotten it sooner.
I'm considering a Harley trike. Many years ago, I drove a friends trike that had a VW engine in it on a 200 mile trip. It was quite comfortable but I continued riding 2-wheelers. Fast forward.. I'm now in my late 60's and have developed nerve damage in both my feet and legs so a 2-wheeler is now pretty much out of the question. I'm amazed at the number of people in my age group around here that are avid riders, mostly 2-wheelers though.
Thanks for the great review! I've been riding street bikes since 1976. I just traded in my beloved Road king. Thanks to military service; full knee replacement and titanium parts in my back. It's just too heavy. While parking, it fell over and pinned my leg to the ground. This will be good for longer distances again with my wife. I still ride my Bonneville and 2022 Yamaha MT-09. Cheers The Yamaha is only 415 pounds and the Bonneville is 500 lbs. Cheers
Brilliant review better than the Harley-Davidson staff in the UK I popped into a place in the UK 3 months ago they told me next to nothing about the bike every question I asked they answered don't worry about it I'm sure you'll be ok on the bike and concentrated on the sale it put me off buying one and I've not bought one since so well done on this excellent clear and honest review
Loved my Freewheeler I bought in 4/16. Love it so much I traded it for the triglide 17 as soon as I read about the Milwaukee 8. What a difference from a street trike to a touring trike( so much cooler at stops), minimal vibration and tons of fun. You 2 wheel guys open your mind to another great Harley Product.2 wheel is too dangerous for me. Great video
I'm 68 and have a 2015 FLRT."Free Wjeeler" my first trike I looked for an old school for almost q0 yrs. But there was none to be had. This FLRT seems more sporty than the triglide and it rides exceptionally well. And the girlies like it more it seems not that it really matters to me. Overall I just prefer the Free Wheeler. Ride Safe Brothers
Nice review. I own a 2014 TriGlide, and everything you've described is absolutely spot on. Many years ago, I also had modified a GoldWing with a RoadSmith kit. Independent rear suspension with disc brakes, air ride, the technology is there, so why Harley doesn't do something like that is beyond me. It's a much better ride with the upgraded rear end. I do, however, like the TriGlide. Just a bit tougher in twisties, and articulating parking lot approaches and other bumps.
Very cool. I still went with the Can Am F3S. Harley got the cool factor, Can Am F3S got the sideways burnout fun factor. I got a sporty too. Whatever keeps you riding is good idea.
Great review of a superb looking and practical trike with all the storage too . I am very tempted to get one as find the BMW R1200rt a bit heavy at times especially when loaded and two up and this bike seems to be the perfect answer
Looking into the Tri-Glides. Bought a Sport-Glide, I am 60. I might not be able to handle it. I had never riden before . I just got my licence. Lets see how I do. If I feel I cant handle the Sport-Glide, I will trade it in for a Tri-Glide.
Great review Matt. My wife and I have a 2016 Tri-Glide. Love it !!!! I just wish we would have waited a couple of months to get the 107 M8. We have a blast on it. Ride safe.
I think the Can-Am Spyder would be worth looking at by anyone that is considering this trike. Two wheels in front, one at the rear is a much more stable way to have a three wheeler. This is why the Morgan company adopted this layout in 1909 and continue with it today.
Well the Can-Am Spyder and the Polaris Sling Shot are both real nice. Me? I would prefer this Harley-Davidson Tri Glide. I love the Harley Big-Twin Motor! Also unlike the Polaris Sling Shot you do not sit in a car seat but on a Tri-Glide you are up on top of the frame like a motorcycle. I have a side car on my 1993 Harley-Davidson Sportster Deluxe and I used it to bring along my daughter in the car and my son sitting behind me on the motorcycle. I have many years and miles under my belt with a side car. Still I have always wanted a Harley-Davidson Trike. On account of cost I'll be going with the Freewheeler. I'm going on 67 and I have very serious health issues due to injuries but I can still ride my 2015 Harley-Davidson FLHP Road King Police for at least two hours. One day when my troubled body can no longer safely handle a motercycle that's when I'll go back to my side car and a new Sportster or a new Tri Glide/Freewheeler. One thing. riding with a side car did develop my upper body strength. The steering was all in the handlebars, no leaning. The Trike-Freewheeler is the same. I am cool with that. Just remember your tires wear out in the center only, because you can't lean in the turns. So you must keep an eye out for tread wear, riding in the rain on balding tires can end you up in a wreck so just remember my comment about the tire wear. But no worries about dropping your 2 wheel bike and no worries about backing up. That's a big relief for a man like me.
This Harley will of course be preferable for many people. I just mentioned the Can-Am Spyder because I think it is an alternative that some might prefer. I will say that I am not a Harley guy myself. But I do like Harley people, I'm just not one of them. I think that makes a difference. If I got to the position where I no longer felt I was able to manage a regular motorcycle, you know, I think I would get the new Morgan three wheeler. I have driven these a few times and although it is a car, really, it is so exciting to drive an you are so in the open that it is possible the only car that could replace a motorcycle. I live in the UK so I see the Morgans around quite a lot. I think people should try as many options as they can. The Can-Am, the Sling-Shot, the Morgan and of course the Harley trike. It may surprise people that they prefer one they hadn't considered at first.
I thought of that motorcycle as well. I agree one might consider that as an alternative but that's like comparing a sport bike to a Harley-Davidson. Plus the two wheels up front make it a completely different animal. Really the only thing they have in common is the fact they have 3 wheels. Really I think the best comparison is the Honda Gold wing Trike
Great review. Really pushed me toward possibly maybe potentially thinking about getting one. Luckily in the uk you dont need a motorcycle licence for a trike so long as you passed your driving test before a certain year
Detailed... Crystal clear and objective! Great review! We are considering the Freewheeler for my better half... Cannot wait to test ride one of these babies! I guess as soon as the ice melts up here! Hahahaha!!! Thanks Matt!
Not for me while I still have full physical abilities, but thanks for the blog, always useful to know what's out there. If I were to lose some physical abilities, I'd be looking for something a bit wider at the rear perhaps space for two passengers and a heap more rake. But, hey, this is all negative imaginings.
Its well worth the $36K however, this price is what I'd expect to pay as a down payment on a twin seater Sea Otter, push prop that enables me to blow through stop signs, never have to worry about school zones, speed traps or getting hit by another vehicle. And besides all this, I can land on a hard runway or in the lake or ocean. I do like this HD Model but I'd have to figure out a way to carry it on long range trips. You did a very good job explaining the features of this model. Thanks
just an fyi. In Wa and Or. you DO need a trike endorsement and they charge an arm and leg for it. $175.00 for the " school" and extra to put it on your lic.
What year did they come out the free wheeler,,,I'm looking for a earlier model these are very pricey but I love the style ,haven't driven one yet .being that I have a bad knee this would be perfect for me,,,the can-am is ok, I test drove that there pricey as well if I'm spending that kind of money it's has to be stylish,comfortable....if I can find a left over with low that would be perfect,,great video you explain the trike well.
I'm 56, love the big bikes. BUT FEAR TIPPING OVER A 900+lb BIKE... Trike remove all that. Woman feel more comfortable too... I just sold myself, damn I'm good. INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION NEEDED
You might think thatafter paying 36,00 dollars for a motorcycle trike, it would already have independent suspension, wouldnt you? Harley is just nuts on their pricing. You could buy TWO better equipped cars and still have money left over from $36000...
I appreciate that you spent a considerable amount of time on the engine, however it would've been a little more helpful if you went over the options on this bike. I am personally trying to compare what one would get on a 34K trike from Harley and what you would get on a 30K trike from Honda. I can only assume from this video that you didn't go over it because it doesn't have anything extra with it other than reverse. I wanted to know if it comes with heated grips, heated seat. How well the stereo works, can you hear it on the highway etc...
Jason Bluestein good to know. I appreciate the feed back. I'll try to include those items better in future videos. The trike does not have heated seats and does not have heated grips. The stereo is excellent. You can hear it really well even at highways speeds. The system is state of the art for a motorcycle/trike. GPS, Bluetooth, USB port.
Heated seat & grips are extra. The stereo sounds good either through the speakers or the headset (Helmet wind noise is the the issue at highway speeds.). I added a rear bumper to mine and the rear end lift kit - helps to protect the pipe tips!
Excellent review. Thanks! I'm seriously evaluating to buy the TriGlide. The only concern I have is due to how people see the trike: a bike for old people who has physical problem. I'm 55 with a good physical shape. Two weels Bikers look badly trike...
How bout stability or tipping over in corners. Is pretty stable. I can’t ride two wheels anymore due to hip joint but seriously looking at a tri-glide!
I ordered one of these back in early April and am hoping it will be delivered within the next couple of months, but it does have to come across the Atlantic to the UK first. My dream machine. I'm having the 'Kliktronic' electronic push-button gear change system fitted as my left foot is virtually useless. Where is the parking brake located and how is it operated?
Also, I will definitely Will say that The Trike is meant for the open highway! They tend to b kind of not fun to ride in-town because of the steering as opposed to leaning.
The independent rear suspension of the Goldwing was a selling point for me. Plus the Goldwing has 50 more hp and torque and cheaper than Harley. Goldwing on bumps/curbs is smooth as f*ck like a Cadillac.
Matt I have a 2018 tri glide ultra touring bike.. I haven't been able to find anyone on these videos that has said anything about the settings like setting the time..
I'm confused. So, the rear axle is a straight axle, doesn't that put a lot of stress on the outside wheel on a turn, or did I miss something? Seriously looking at getting a trike in the near future. Great video!
Matt Honda doesn't make trikes, those are all trike conversions btw. There are still trike conversion manufacturers that build way better trikes than the Tri Glide. Trike conversion manufactures like Roadsmith for instance, have been making better trikes utilizing independent rear suspension and a longer wheelbase to achieve an excellent ride for over 20 years. That rough ride and handlebar jerking is a solid axle "con" not an IRS trike conversion problem. I'm very familiar with trikes and as far as trikes go the Tri Glide is seriously the worst riding and poorest design available. That steering dampener is just a band aid to try to compensate for the violent reaction the handlebars have to a sharp bump. If that bike had an independent rear suspension it would't act that way. Their reverse is ridiculous, its so loud and jerky, not to mention weak and problematic. Roadsmith has an electric reverse that is perfectly silent and backs up at a better speed. Many Tri Glides are sold however, not because they are good but rather people don't do their research and find it easy to trade their bike in instead of converting the one they have. Maybe you should offer another option to your customers
I bet Poppa Bear Harley Davidson would throw a fit if the Dealership were to do a end around and build trikes with competitor kits. I know as of now they're ok with doing so with the Sporster line but I recon that's just because they don't build Sporster trikes and doing so simply helps Harley to sell more Sporsters.
I have a 2014 CVO Road King. Both front and rear brakes are linked together, whether you apply just the brake lever or the rear brake pedal. Are the brakes on the Tri-Glide linked?
MrRobeva they look good and are on a streetglide to complete the sleeker styling but they are not as good functionally. The viewing angle is better on the handle bars.
My concern is about the reverse gear. Using electrical engine is a bad choice made by HD. It's not reliable and it has a lot of limitations on its usage. Why HD has decided not to use the engine also for the Reverse?
Hey Matt, if someone had a Kliktronic shifter on their tri glide .... would they take alot of "abuse" from other riders ... or would they understand .... in your opinion of course.
Just wondering how do you find the heat on these especially in heavy traffic i know we had to change exhaust & remove front pods during summer to make it comfortable
Hi Matt, great video as aways. How does the trike feel for a tall rider? I'm 6'5" with a 37" inside leg so was just wondering if it felt cramped at all for you as I know your also a tall rider, also have to tried the FreeWheeler and how did that compare?
Very nice video.. my wife and i are not bike people.. but weve always been interested in them.. well we met some folks from a local harley dealership.. actual.. owners.. who goto our Ymca.. and we started talking.. they showed us this bike. ! .. i have some mobility issues.. so a 2 wheeler is out.. ive ridden before but a very long time ago.. Do you have any reviews of the freewheelers.. or they are just stripped down version of the tri glide ?
ChrisandEileen I don't have a free wheeler review. I need to do one. They have a lot of similarities but enough differences to warranty a whole other review.
Wish Harley Davidson would come out with a "ROAD GLIDE" trike !!!!!!!!!!! Really considering a trike, but I absolutely HATE the "Bat Wing" fairings after riding the Road Glide for over a decade !!!!!!!!!
one day....we will all get there no matter what...so I am glad the MoCo has some options. Heck, if I had that kind of money...I might trade our 2016 Limited for a Tri Glide....but ONLY because I still have a heritage softail for traditional riding. I'm betting my wife will want us to move to a trike inside of 3 years for us to ride together.
Matt, I have a 14 TriGlide and love it. I wanted to know what kind of camera you are using and what kind of helmet mount do you use? Also what camera mount were you using fro the view from the rear fender?
+Ned Beasley helmet cam is GoPro hero 5. Rear fender camera is go pro hero 3. Walk around video is done on a Cannon G7X. The fender camera is on the suction cup mount.
Thanks for the review. I noticed that you made a left turn out of your dealership on this review; unlike other review/rides, crossing the traffic like a car, maybe?
Opps! sorry there Matt ...is that now an option on HD's now?.am installing a CHAMPION kit in my 07 ultra GLIDE...soon as possible and lot cheaper and much much more fun than a hip or in my case ..knee replacement!!!...ride well all...cheers Ryan in sth OZ

I have 15 tri glide and I put a lift kit on it. It make turning and overall handing much easier. Great video by the way.
Interesting I haven't heard of that being done
Probably the best video I’ve ever seen on a bike!

Thanks for the info. I definitely need help going over bumps😅. Large ones make my trike feel like a bucking bronco
Good point.
Thanks again Ryan
In going on my 70's do I bought a 2015 Freewheeler
With 60 miles on it,
With a lot of upgrades !
19K
It's an Epic Toy!
Great review
Thanks
Tony McGee I got a 2018 Tri Glide from Chester Harley Davidson and they were superb in all aspects
We just acquired one of these for my wife. She's looking forward to the stability that the three wheel set offers.
Cheers
im 76 years old, you got me thinking, very nice

You've presented an honest overview of this trike; thank you.
Thanks for watching. Hopefully I helped.
These are bad ass!! See a lot of Trikes on the road. They are still cool!
What cost the bike
I owe the 2015 model and love it...wouldn't trade for anything.
Tony Armada feito motos bom curso que 👍👍👍🤔
Not even for a 2016 model?
Great review of a superb looking and practical trike with all the storage too . I am very tempted to get one as find the BMW R1200rt a bit heavy at times especially when loaded and two up and this bike seems to be the perfect answer
Got myself a 2018 Tri Glide and absolutely love it
Looking into the Tri-Glides. Bought a Sport-Glide, I am 60. I might not be able to handle it. I had never riden before . I just got my licence. Lets see how I do. If I feel I cant handle the Sport-Glide, I will trade it in for a Tri-Glide.
These trikes are pretty cool, not a bad option for the elderly or disabled to stay on the road and out of a cage.
Great review Matt. My wife and I have a 2016 Tri-Glide. Love it !!!! I just wish we would have waited a couple of months to get the 107 M8. We have a blast on it. Ride safe.
You can never predict what will be released. Enjoy the bike. The high out put 103 powers the Trike just fine.
Have you got a video on the 2019 model? I'd like to know if their are any improvements etc.
Great video thanks
Well done! Great review, thank you...heading to Maui tomorrow. Got one reserved, looking forward to touring the Island...Aloha!
You want easy turning? Install at least 12 inch bars if you don't want to add extensions. Anything higher you will need them. World of difference.
Great review. Really pushed me toward possibly maybe potentially thinking about getting one. Luckily in the uk you dont need a motorcycle licence for a trike so long as you passed your driving test before a certain year
awesom ride I just love the stability get geard reverse the electric reverse is weak and a parking break love it
Just bought a 2017. Noticed that it appears you are driving with the parking brake warning light on.
Detailed... Crystal clear and objective! Great review! We are considering the Freewheeler for my better half... Cannot wait to test ride one of these babies! I guess as soon as the ice melts up here! Hahahaha!!!
Thanks Matt!
Euripides Masakis yea test ride one. You'll like it. Happy riding. Thanks for the positive feedback.
Do you now if Harley Davidson has considered better produce small two seat cars?
Because It is not a motorcycle? Lane-splitting, suppleness and other advantages of a motorbike disappear.
same with a trike.
Nise bike What cost thebike. Please info 2hand is oké Lex kantoor. Amsterdam. Holland.

Thanks, great video. How different, similar is the 2017 to 2016 model. Looking forward to my trike.
Thank you! I appreciate your response and I do enjoy your reviews, the information you provide is valuable. Thank you again!
Just got mine will be ready tomorrow Hooah love your demo video thank you
How bout stability or tipping over in corners. Is pretty stable. I can’t ride two wheels anymore due to hip joint but seriously looking at a tri-glide!
It would be nice if they made reverse standard across all of the Touring line. I think it is standard on the Goldwing.
They tend to b kind of not fun to ride in-town because of the steering as opposed to leaning.
thats a bad ass bike !! they are fun to ride . its so weird when you come to a stop and still want to put your feet down lmao
Haha. Yea that’s a common reaction when people first ride it.
It's in our garage now and he
it
The red light on the dash shows he drove the full demo ride with the parking brake on......
The independent rear suspension of the Goldwing was a selling point for me. Plus the Goldwing has 50 more hp and torque and cheaper than Harley. Goldwing on bumps/curbs is smooth as f*ck like a Cadillac.
The best tyre pressure for these trikes is 8 to10 pounds in the rear and 18 pounds in the front to get the best ride.
can you explain exactly how the rider and passenger communication works. and post the video. thanks
Matt I have a 2018 tri glide ultra touring bike.. I haven't been able to find anyone on these videos that has said anything about the settings like setting the time..
Now THATS a MOTORCYCLE!!!
Very interesting I'm looking at trikes myself.
Thanks Bob from England.
I'm confused. So, the rear axle is a straight axle, doesn't that put a lot of stress on the outside wheel on a turn, or did I miss something? Seriously looking at getting a trike in the near future. Great video!
I am looking forward to getting one, I think it is just one awesome machine.
Thanks, Matt good to know info. But but I won't be training in my 16 Slim S any time soon.. lol😂
Fili LOBO Esparza I don't blame you.
Matt
Honda doesn't make trikes, those are all trike conversions btw.
Correct. As far as I'm aware the only factory trikes other than the Harleys is the Can-Am series (and they're backwards with 2 wheels at the front).
Geoff Hansford Indian has a trike model also.
Do you know why these don't use street glide mirrors?
How long does the transmission belt lasts ? And since it is belt drive, is there no power wastage due to skidding ? Thanks
would love t look at one of these but not at this price without ABS
Hi there....
How about reverse gear ?
Thanks for providing great content. I’m purchasing a Tri Glide this weekend. What helmet brand and Go Pro is worn in this video?
Simpson outlaw bandit helmet.
The GoPro is probably a hero 6. Get the 9 though.
Thanks very much, this was very helpful. Crystal clear and really great explanations. Appreciate your efforts
Tom Huntzinger thanks!
Matt your videos are great content and quality. What camera and mounting hardware are you using ?
+John Thomas I have 3 cameras I use. Cannon G7X. Go pro hero 5 and hero 3
I concur!
one day....we will all get there no matter what...so I am glad the MoCo has some options. Heck, if I had that kind of money...I might trade our 2016 Limited for a Tri Glide....but ONLY because I still have a heritage softail for traditional riding. I'm betting my wife will want us to move to a trike inside of 3 years for us to ride together.
Great video and thanks for sharing the video really appreciate it. Thank I'm thinking about purchasing.
Is this type of bike good for beginners just starting out to ride
Very good review, thanks.
Matt Laidlaw Thank you Matt.
Thanks for the review. I noticed that you made a left turn out of your dealership on this review; unlike other review/rides, crossing the traffic like a car, maybe?
Does the rear wheel lift off the ground easily when you turn a bit too fast?
Nice bike What cost the beatyvol bike
no reverse? a must have !! compulsory in OZ
rebeltz2010 There is reverse. You didn't watch the whole video.
Opps! sorry there Matt ...is that now an option on HD's now?.am installing a CHAMPION kit in my 07 ultra GLIDE...soon as possible and lot cheaper and much much more fun than a hip or in my case ..knee replacement!!!...ride well all...cheers Ryan in sth OZ
Do you get the option for customizing the handle bars on this?
love it! Awesome review Matt.
Arturo Meuniot thanks man.
Is DAB radio not a thing in the USA? AM/FM is like something from the 1980s.
I FIND TRIKE HAS SAFER FEELING IN STRONG WINDS...AND NICE PULLING SMALL TRAILER...AND IS A BLAST!!..
👍🏻👍🏻
