Stem Cell Therapy for cerebral palsy provides better support, reduces inflammation and establishes cellular control, coordination as well as movement, which can further help to gain gradual control over lost movement, balance, posture, etc. Thus, the Stem Cell Therapy is not a temporary solution but a long-term goal to live in a healthy and better way. Advancells is one of the best option.
It's been 3 years since this was posted. I work in a CP care facility as a DSP. I'm curious about possible advancements in stem cell therapy to rebuild the damaged parts of the brain. What do you know about that these days???
There needs to be more support for adults with CP. My adult son has a case manager, and lives in an apartment complex with other adults with CP. They are supposed to provide cleaning, staff time, help with meals and laundry. Someone helped him make eggs one time in 3 years. If I wouldn't be determined to help him with food, he may have starved. If your child with CP is nearing adulthood, become his or her decision maker now!!! Mine has become his own and has been in denial for years. He told me after being in the hospital for weeks with a brain bleed and blood clot, " they offered me therapy when I go home, but I told them I felt like I didn't need it". SMH!!!! I have worked so hard to get him to have therapy and have finally got limited visits by the therapist. It is so very beneficial.

How can someone undergo this treatment. My sister baby needs this
Alot of these treatments are also important for adults with cp to maintain independence throughout life.
Can you please mention few?
