It is bizarre, but even weirder is that it will continue over the next few games as well, before he returns to being a regular unlock only again in SvR 2009. What's probably weirder about the unplayables is that these are unique characters with unique movesets who you just couldn't play as legitimately for years on end, so odd. It probably reaches its peak with SvR 2011 when you start getting actual guys like Hurricane and Carlito who are complete characters with complete movesets yet you just can't use them without hacking; makes for good content on this channel but it's still pretty strange.
If I’m being honest he was wrestling or more active in stories when he was playable in games of a specific year. Like how he was in Svr 2008 cause his wars with DX the past year & Lashley the current year for the ECW title
