    I wished all we stateless persons in Malaysia can be a citizen in future, we didn't asked to born into this world this way, just watching normal peoples achieving their dreams from far, its not like we're envy of it, it just we wanted to be NORMAL too :')

    Citizenship means votes. It's very clear what's the problem.

    We have so many talented stateless adults who are not able to find decent jobs due to not having documents. Most of them are adopted or have at least 1 Malaysian parent.
    Even foreigners and refugees are able to gain employment without hassle..😢

    I hope those in authorities look with compassion and only do what's right for these people!

    Hope current government will look into this matter and provide a better solution to this unfortunate people. A child should not be punished for their parents mistakes!

    The harshest thing you can tell a kid is that they don’t belong anywhere…
    As of April 2023, the highest number of Malaysia’s citizenship applications - 133,436 (stated in Parliament) - were for adopted children, many actually adopted by Malaysian biological fathers who did not have a marriage certificate.
    This is the main pathway allowed under JPN/KDN rules. Many kids abandoned by their foreign, untraceable mothers.
    Note: This is 88.95 percent of total 150,000 citizenship applications announced, of which all were applied for at least minimum 2 years ago (rules again) but many stretching back to at least 5 years and more…

    What a nice word ECO. The ecosystem has already been disturb by the apprearence of these stateless people. The current example that is going on now is in Pulau Rempang, Batam, Indonesia ecosystem via Ecocity. The natives there are soon to be as the same level as stateless people. If you can not understand this, go learn colonization from israel.

    Born out of wedlock, already mentioned clearly in the video, he or she is not a "legal" child tho. Maybe they can earn their citizenship through other ways instead of heritage

      Yes, true.. but give options on it? Then have to wait for decades? You think that person will stay as a child until the citizenship given? 😅.. humans aged bro😢.

      @@VeronicaOctavia No worries. The blacks in US have waited reparations for generations.

      If they were born out of wedlock, this is a sure care of the mother being non Malaysian. Children out of wedlock, of Malaysian mothers have no problem with their citizenship because there is a law that states, the children is legally only the children of the mother and no information of the father should be in the birth certificate. This makes the children automatically Malaysian.

    • @CitizenCan
      @CitizenCan ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@VeronicaOctavia there's really no need to wait for decades... I mean, is it really worth making the effort to settle for Malaysian citizenship? If the opportunities are not here, don't wait around... go where you are treated best... be a global citizen... I really don't get why people want to settle for Malaysian citizenship...

    • @VeronicaOctavia
      @VeronicaOctavia ปีที่แล้ว

      But the problem is, even legally married just because not registered in Malaysia also can't get how? Dad is Malaysian sad, refuges and PATI have more value than being the Stateless just to stated it like that , shows how the Stateless have no meaning like their are not human and not worth living in this world 😮‍💨.

    Footballer can get. Taib mahmud wife and her children can get . Dual citizenship some more. These helpless children cannot how? Tak nampak macam manusia ke?

    • @CitizenCan
      @CitizenCan ปีที่แล้ว

      Because that footballer have skills that he can sell... Taib Mahmud's wife also have skills... These children should take a cue from the footballer and Taib's wife... Have the right connections and use it... Privilege is real.. no point living in denial...

    • @stephaniejaboh8929
      @stephaniejaboh8929 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@VeronicaOctavia it's not easy to fix this. It's easier to say than done and stateless people are too many. I know several people in Sabah who said they are stateless people who lives in Sabah but I later found out they actually were born in Sabah to Filipino mothers and claimed that their fathers are Malaysian but did not do through proper marriage registrations. Things like these we should be careful of. There is no proof they are really Malaysian by blood. Allowing anyone to claim citizenship without proper proof is not easy. There are people wanting to take advantage instead of going back to their own country. There's a con to all of these pros. Some cases should be looked into seriously but if we're not careful, many would take advantage. You don't want it to turn out like Mexicans in the US border.
