Actually if everything was everyone's and shop's towers are unlimited, everybody would have every tower, infinite money and infinite gems. Going further, if you'd need materials for upgrades, people would be spread between those who farm x material, those who farm y material, those who play, etc. To top off all this, everything would be under total control.

Due to communism took over tds, no one become productive and all the stuff people work hard for has been dragged away so it can be given to the public, may sound good however, coins and purpose loses its value, new players having control in high level players's towers, causing catastrophe because ass placement and terruble usage of the towers. Because of this catastrophe, they went back to their original system
Capitalism is not perfect but it's the best system we have
