Sad to hear he’s retiring after another album but as a huge fan I can be satisfied with a pretty large catalogue of work to enjoy over the years. I’m sure he’ll come back to it eventually but as a hobbyist composer myself it is incredibly taxing to write music and I can’t imagine doing it full time. Good to see that he’s gonna just chill for a while.

Lockdown vibes, released right as we were coasting into the first winter of the pandemic, when we all began to realize that this wasn’t just going to be a temporary thing. Insane times. This track kept us cool and calm as we’d drive around town to get out of the house but couldn’t go into any stores or restaurants.
