I’ve been swim instructor for eight years the best thing you can do is just give her to the swim instructor and walk away it will take time but eventually once she gets comfortable she won’t cry all the time and then it’ll end up being fun it just takes time The longer you wait the harder it is to teach them as they get older especially if they already have a fear of water this year
Don’t know if this will help, but I was a swim instructor for years (for 0-5 year olds and special needs) and the kids that were nervous ALWAYS calmed down once they were in the water and the parents were out of sight.
As a swim instructor the best thing you could do for her is put her in lessons now. She may not like it at first and it may be beneficial if you leave her with the instructor. Eventually she will get comfortable and start to have fun. It’s easier to overcome the fear now rather than when she’s 3-4 years old. I hope they go well!! 🤞🏻

I taught swim for 7 years and my BIGGEST advice with the younger kiddos who are scared is to just keep going swimming on a super regular basis (daily). Eventually she will realize it is fun and will forget about her fears. But if you wait until they are older (3-4 yrs) it is significantly harder to break that fear! Also super super important for kids to know how to float/call for help at her age in case she ever fell into water. Can’t wait to see the swim lesson vlogs! 🥰

It’s so crazy seeing different doctors doing the glucose test differently! Both of my pregnancies they poured half of the drink into a cup and then told me to come back in an hour ! I went shopping both times, I never had to sit and wait. I was also allowed to eat I just had to make sure it wasn’t anything sugary so it didn’t throw off the test
i never comment on any videos hahaha but i wanted to say we did a swim class where we could get in the water with her and the instructor, which made a big difference. emmy cried through the first two classes but by the third one was totally warmed up to it!! it’ll just take time :)
I’m so happy I never had the dummy situation lol. My son was born with a tongue tie and had trouble keeping the dummy in his mouth, so I didn’t bother giving him one after about a week. Now I just need to worry about Taking his bottle away 😳

For us in Australia we aren’t allowed to eat before the GTT we have to be fasting from midnight the night before so it’s accurate

Im Australia the Glucose drink is even more sugary, and we have to sit for two hours, having a blood test every hour. So three blood tests in total.
