This game frustrates me so much because it’s actually such a good game, one of the best horse games out there, but it’s also so greedy 😭 Also, I want to say how much I appreciate your channel. A lot of people that play this game and watch these videos are kids and it’s such a great thing that you’re encouraging them to save their money instead of spending all of it on virtual horses. I feel like a lot of kids get fomo from watching their favorite virtual equestrian TH-camrs get all the pretty new horses in games, so I really appreciate that you’re encouraging them to not chase after trends
@@waterlily789 Foxie Ventures, the creator/developers for the game, are known for being money hungry and greedy. They do pay to play features over and over again. Not only in this game, but in horse riding tales, and wolf tales. Honestly upsetting to see such amazing developers become more and more money hungry.

All ages are allowed to play this game, but if when it comes to in app purchases I’m pretty sure it’s 18+ obviously or with the help of a parent guardian. If that’s not than case then the only I could assume that this is child gambling but honestly just gambling in general because who in the right mind would spend $300 on a game? I wouldn’t but that’s just my opinion, everyone has their own opinion and money to spend.

I honestly needed to hear this because I desperately wanted the Luminous Friesian horse to later breed with my Pegasus to get a Luminous Pegasus but like you said; it’s not worth it. They’re basically promoting unhealthy habits TO CHILDREN at that, even to normal adults, all for money. And that’s why I believe FOXIE should be reported and really looked into. Because like you said, this type of gambling system is literally an inch close to being illegal. No. It IS ILLEGAL. Because people are susceptible to gamble every last bit to get the horse they want; and that’s not right. AND THESE UPDATES THEY UPDATE ARE USELESS. AND ARE USUALLY A TEASE! The Pegasus breeding is just a mere glimpse at them allowing Fantasy to be able to breed.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I agree with you on everything. Im feeling very done myself with this game. I feel like more and more people are having this realisation and leaving the game. There is no future for Star Equestrian. 1. How they implement pricing, 2. Rewards, 3. Story (main-, side- and repetable quests). 4. And most important, how low the community is prioritised in their plans (no communication, always leaving out (negative) information on new updates, support is a mess etc.
As someone who has done at least 10 - 15 summonings in the Pegasus stable and still has not gotten anything, has had money taken from me without getting the gems that I paid for and for getting duplicates over and over, I am so glad that others are not sugar coating the game and are honest of how they feel, Horse games are greedy. Here in Sweden it's even worse because 1 American dollar is about 11 Swedish crowns (kr/kronor) So 50 dollars are over 500 kr in Sweden and that's a bit much

I agree with the game being too money-hungry, everything is just so pricey. For the amount of 5000 gems in a horse game that I play, you could buy a lot of things. If I had to chooses between the gems and a new carburetor or ducks or something, I wouldn't be getting the gems. When I'm putting my hours in on hard-work trying to make money, I'm not going to spend it on pixels..
Examples like this (as well as all the stuff you pointed out) are a great example why this game is NEVER going to hold a candle to Star Stable Online, or any other horse game, no matter how much some players try to defend it. In almost 2 years since the game came out, nothing concrete was added for people to play with that wasn't in some way or form limited by how much money you can pump into the game. Nothing. The fact they keep parading it as a "Free to Play" game is just so insulting to all the people who are playing this game. And the worst thing is, even if you pay there's still nothing to do! Nothing but buying/breeding and leveling up horses. That's it. There's no proper justification to spend money on the game.
Absolutely cannot agree with you. Playing sso from my childhood. And now it`s became the same money hungry project. We do not get new interesting stories to play, new content or stuff. All we got is an abnormaous amount of horses, that u need to buy. Ok, they updated a char and some locations. But they promised to do that more than 5 years ago...
@@SuicidalH Yes, but SSO offers more. More quests, events, daily quests, races, clothes to buy, more areas to explore, and even more role playing potential. When i get online on SSO I actually have something to play with for more than 30 minutes. Not to mention that except horses, everything in SSO can be bought with money you earn by playing the game. Overall, I find it a lot more worth the money than SE ever was.

I have enjoyed pretty much all the updates we've had over the last few years, from updates to areas to more races and customization we've been getting. I don't care for quests, so the "lack" of them doesn't concern me, because I have other things to do. In SE I have nothing to do. There's literally a handful of daily quests I can do which is done in 30 minutes, and the only other thing left is to run around collecting resources which don't even respawn all every day. Races are pay to win and completely pointless since I can only run 3 a day before I have to pay gems to play more. I can't compete with paying players at all. Other than that, there's nothing else to do. The game gets boring and repetitive after a week. If you feel differently that's fine, maybe you enjoy a different kind of gameplay, but for me SE doesn't offer anything worthwhile after all the main quests are done.

I am really disappointed that even as a VIP you cannot breed with a pegasus of another player. I am not willing to spend about 40€ on a 10% chance on a pegasus - you can get full games for this amount - and if you just save up the gems you get in game, you would need about a month for one single pull or be really lucky with club and race rewards. I have been playing and enjoying this game without paying any money for quite a long time. I bought VIP after the breeding update, but considering the recent developments I start to regret this.
You should play Horse Isle 3 ! The graphism aren't the best, but the game is not greedy. There is a currency you can buy with real money, but you can also trade it. The community is very nice and the breeding very in depth. There is also soooo many different breeds and stuff to do !
I had considered playing this game, as someone who really enjoys Star Stable! But after having ONE look at the shop and the absolute ABSURD price of things and disgusting monetization practices, I was instantly convinced otherwise. I don't think I've ever seen a game so disgustingly greedy, and this is coming from someone who thinks Genshin Impact is a terribly greedy game. THIS is the worst I've seen lol!!! They would've gotten some money from me, and I'm sure many others, if they had just lowered their prices to something reasonable. What a disappointment.

I have been watching your video mostly to satisfy myself because i've always been wanting to play star equestrian and even tried it once but uninstalled it afterwards for the sake of my wallet as i used to play genshin impact and i know my gatcha luck is pretty shit. Seeing so many updates from the stables to breeding, to luminous fresian I feel like my decision was correct from the start. This game has gotten insanely expensive. I think the drenched appaloosa is called that because it looks like it had water dumped over it. Like the spots take on a look of wet paint splashed with water. And i also agree with the stuff about the game becoming too expensive. I also am so sick of the gambling horse system. They need a shop where you can buy the horses you want directly. Seriously, i think exclusive gambling systems like this need to be made illegal everywhere. Like, i won't complain if there is an alternative like a shop. Like say, make the stables cheaper for that small chance to get a horse you want, but also have a shop with the skins themselves directly that players can buy that could cost around as much as the stables do rn, or a little more expensive for the higher star horses. I would be fine with that kind of system.
27:40 It happens to me as well, I have a mustang with Phoenix's coat and when I try to breed him he is blue roan instead of golden, I think it's a glitch with that specific coat color🤔 I never bred him so Idk what happens if I do 33:37 It happened to me yesterday, but I'm happy because the coat I got thanks to the glitch was the one I was trying to get! I thought I failed the breeding because I got a coat that wasn't the one I wanted, but then it grew up and it transformed into the dad's coat color (the one I wanted)
yah i thhink their should be something after 10 summons your guaranteed 1 of your choosing, but hatts why i do sso instead and my other horse games. played to many games where devs are just after quick cash grab. but love the content you make.
Oh well, star greedyan )) I think that`ll be fair, if you could have a discount for pegasus breeding if u already own one. And a higher price for others. Even if it'll cost 6-8 thousand gems for non vip players with 100% chance to get winged foal. For me - I still enjoyed the game without this stuff. I like to grind comprtitions after a long day at work and my goal for now is to get one maxed out horse. I enjoed breeding so much, but I wouldn`t buy that amount of gems for posibility to get a flap-flap baby.
stuff like this is exactly why i quit 😭😭 i stayed because i felt obligated to my riding club but i couldnt even afford a pegasus and got unlucky pulling, i realized sunk cost fallacy was all that was keeping me from quitting so i did. Thanks to SE im $100+ in the hole and with no pegasus and two fantasy horses to my name. Huge mistake pumping money in this game

Yeah I finished the main story in about 3 mouths then took a break and am now back. Unless I see major changes to the game I will not invest I can’t play on my iPad because it kicks me out. I was in top club to making 3000 sp a week and it’s not worth it i Especially with the new club system. I honestly think that with out the chat system the game would be dead I think the majority of the people who play stay because of the people. Or that they have spent to much money i honestly have very similar things to some one who spends at LEAST 1000 dollars a week she just has more. And people need to now that when you spend 10000 dollars on a game all you have are pixels of colors on a screen meanwhile you can take a amazing cruise and have memories to last a lifetime.

See this happened to me with horse haven they removed it from the google store but only kept it on ios and i cant play it on my tablet thats literally too old to run it!
On another note, I 100% agree with you about the game. It’s kind of lost its luster since they aren’t adding anything new that doesn’t cost money. These updates would be AWESOME if they gave us other things to do as well. Otherwise it truly does feel like just a money grab

I have not touched this game since the pet update, I was so shocked by the price of the pets, I mean, I already thought the prices were a bit outrageous before and I have not spent a cent on this game, I was willing to grind for a new horses even with the prices, but 3000 for a pet that is basically just an overpriced cosmetic!!! You can get a horse for 2000 which is the main part of the game, that is absolutely ridiculous!!! I know this has nothing to do about the Pegasus but my point being is the prices of this game are SO ridiculous!!! And I do not understand why games charge so much for their rare currency, I would be much more willing if is was like 99 cent for 500, 2.99 for 1000, 5.99 For 2000, 9.99 for 3000 etc. something like that, I mean, I’d prefer if you just had to earn currency to get your horses, but I understand they need money so if you’re gonna charge, why not just make them more affordable, if it was more affordable I’d be willing to even pay for currency multiple times, feel like they would make just as much money if they just made it more affordable so people can afford to purchase things multiple times, idk maybe that’s just me but either way this game is getting way to greedy! And it is sad to see a game with some really cool mechanics and ideas do stuff like this 😔
Honestly in my opinion, I like this update with new Clydesdale, Quarter horse coats etc, except of this PAY to play feature just for Pegasus breeding 🤦♀️ I have almost LOST motivation to keep playing more of this game and TIRED of playing this game at all due to the few updates that make non-VIP players’ game impossible Anyway, here are my positives and cons about this update: Positives: -MORE realistic horse coats -AMAZING Pegasus coats such as Luminous Pegasus version, Arabian Pegasus coats etc -and some of the bug fixes -Friesian walk animation has been fixed a bit due to the neck this (maybe I don’t know if they really fixed this in like a month ago 😅) Cons: -PEGASUS BREEDING is just for VIPs -CHAMPION CHEST can be now claimed for Top 50s (before that, it was for Top 100s) [it happened around around 2-3 weeks ago I guess] Fun fact: before this update, there was one TH-camr that contacted to Foxie Ventures (the developer of Star Equestrian) and they replied that this feature will be available for VIP
Whattt they changed the Race chest prizes too? Or only the Club one? Coz the one for races was top 100 Star Equestrians, but they did change the Club Reward Chest to 50 a couple weeks ago (that's so scummy btw, they didn't even say anything about it)
i stopped playing after they added breeding over all, the game developers went from being a fun game with no real pay walls to a pay wall at every turn. Last i checked we were still waiting for western sections but they hide it behind and over priced VIP pay wall. it's sad but well done on making an amazing vid!
I thought this was gonna be the F2P way to get a pegasus, and I was wrong, It's VIP too!! I like that its Winged guaranteed, and also that now you can have Pegasi with cool coats ... but at least let F2P breed the one with the Quarter/Evervale/Paint model!! If most players players get a flying horse they could implement flying races smh Let's hope it's not the same for fantasy horses when the breeding for them comes out 🤨
Yeah I hope but I’m going to save up to VIP. VIP is kind like a bonus for me the Pegasus is a bonus too you don’t need Pegasus to play the game they kind like a bonus! It’s how I see it :)

The best VIP perks, that don't exclude F2P from gameplay features, for me are discounts, because you spent a lot of money in the game so you deserve to have reduced prices, like the normal breedings have half the price. Tbh i wanna become a VIP more because of the discounts than to be able to pull for the Winged stables lol

This is starting to feel disrespectful. For us to actually give out free money and not be rewarded in a game that feels so small, with so many glitches and lags. Not enough storyline.I can love a grind, but not a months worth.
I quit this game right after launch and kept up with it by watching you and other people. The graphics are amazing, but It's honestly just genshin clone with horses and absurd prices marketed towards kids. Gambling for kids is illegal btw so idk how are games like these even legal?

That is one thing that really does annoy me….lack of an actual pity system. I mean if you are going to have gotcha, you need to also have pity.

@georgiagiraffe5844 same I play sso and tried this game it has a lot of cool qualities but there's no way I'm spending so much money to try get a horse I want without guarantee that I'm gonna get that horse 😅 at least in sso I can pay and buy the horse I want straight up and not have to continually spend trying to get. I have been watching your video mostly to satisfy myself because i've always been wanting to play star equestrian and even tried it once but uninstalled it afterwards for the sake of my wallet as i used to play genshin impact and i know my gatcha luck is pretty shit. Seeing so many updates from the stables to breeding, to luminous fresian I feel like my decision was correct from the start. This game has gotten insanely expensive. I think the drenched appaloosa is called that because it looks like it had water dumped over it. Like the spots take on a look of wet paint splashed with water.
And i also agree with the stuff about the game becoming too expensive. I also am so sick of the gambling horse system. They need a shop where you can buy the horses you want directly. Seriously, i think exclusive gambling systems like this need to be made illegal everywhere. Like, i won't complain if there is an alternative like a shop. Like say, make the stables cheaper for that small chance to get a horse you want, but also have a shop with the skins themselves directly that players can buy that could cost around as much as the stables do rn, or a little more expensive for the higher star horses. I would be fine with that kind of system.
27:40 It happens to me as well, I have a mustang with Phoenix's coat and when I try to breed him he is blue roan instead of golden, I think it's a glitch with that specific coat color🤔
I never bred him so Idk what happens if I do
33:37 It happened to me yesterday, but I'm happy because the coat I got thanks to the glitch was the one I was trying to get! I thought I failed the breeding because I got a coat that wasn't the one I wanted, but then it grew up and it transformed into the dad's coat color (the one I wanted)
yah i thhink their should be something after 10 summons your guaranteed 1 of your choosing, but hatts why i do sso instead and my other horse games. played to many games where devs are just after quick cash grab. but love the content you make.

Oh well, star greedyan )) I think that`ll be fair, if you could have a discount for pegasus breeding if u already own one. And a higher price for others. Even if it'll cost 6-8 thousand gems for non vip players with 100% chance to get winged foal. For me - I still enjoyed the game without this stuff. I like to grind comprtitions after a long day at work and my goal for now is to get one maxed out horse. I enjoed breeding so much, but I wouldn`t buy that amount of gems for posibility to get a flap-flap baby.
stuff like this is exactly why i quit 😭😭 i stayed because i felt obligated to my riding club but i couldnt even afford a pegasus and got unlucky pulling, i realized sunk cost fallacy was all that was keeping me from quitting so i did. Thanks to SE im $100+ in the hole and with no pegasus and two fantasy horses to my name. Huge mistake pumping money in this game

Yeah I finished the main story in about 3 mouths then took a break and am now back. Unless I see major changes to the game I will not invest I can’t play on my iPad because it kicks me out. I was in top club to making 3000 sp a week and it’s not worth it i Especially with the new club system. I honestly think that with out the chat system the game would be dead I think the majority of the people who play stay because of the people. Or that they have spent to much money i honestly have very similar things to some one who spends at LEAST 1000 dollars a week she just has more. And people need to now that when you spend 10000 dollars on a game all you have are pixels of colors on a screen meanwhile you can take a amazing cruise and have memories to last a lifetime.

See this happened to me with horse haven they removed it from the google store but only kept it on ios and i cant play it on my tablet thats literally too old to run it!
On another note, I 100% agree with you about the game. It’s kind of lost its luster since they aren’t adding anything new that doesn’t cost money. These updates would be AWESOME if they gave us other things to do as well. Otherwise it truly does feel like just a money grab

I have not touched this game since the pet update, I was so shocked by the price of the pets, I mean, I already thought the prices were a bit outrageous before and I have not spent a cent on this game, I was willing to grind for a new horses even with the prices, but 3000 for a pet that is basically just an overpriced cosmetic!!! You can get a horse for 2000 which is the main part of the game, that is absolutely ridiculous!!! I know this has nothing to do about the Pegasus but my point being is the prices of this game are SO ridiculous!!! And I do not understand why games charge so much for their rare currency, I would be much more willing if is was like 99 cent for 500, 2.99 for 1000, 5.99 For 2000, 9.99 for 3000 etc. something like that, I mean, I’d prefer if you just had to earn currency to get your horses, but I understand they need money so if you’re gonna charge, why not just make them more affordable, if it was more affordable I’d be willing to even pay for currency multiple times, feel like they would make just as much money if they just made it more affordable so people can afford to purchase things multiple times, idk maybe that’s just me but either way this game is getting way to greedy! And it is sad to see a game with some really cool mechanics and ideas do stuff like this 😔
Honestly in my opinion, I like this update with new Clydesdale, Quarter horse coats etc, except of this PAY to play feature just for Pegasus breeding 🤦♀️ I have almost LOST motivation to keep playing more of this game and TIRED of playing this game at all due to the few updates that make non-VIP players’ game impossible
Anyway, here are my positives and cons about this update:
Positives:
-MORE realistic horse coats
-AMAZING Pegasus coats such as Luminous Pegasus version, Arabian Pegasus coats etc
-and some of the bug fixes
-Friesian walk animation has been fixed a bit due to the neck this (maybe I don’t know if they really fixed this in like a month ago 😅)
Cons:
-PEGASUS BREEDING is just for VIPs
-CHAMPION CHEST can be now claimed for Top 50s (before that, it was for Top 100s) [it happened around around 2-3 weeks ago I guess]
Fun fact: before this update, there was one TH-camr that contacted to Foxie Ventures (the developer of Star Equestrian) and they replied that this feature will be available for VIP
Whattt they changed the Race chest prizes too? Or only the Club one? Coz the one for races was top 100 Star Equestrians, but they did change the Club Reward Chest to 50 a couple weeks ago (that's so scummy btw, they didn't even say anything about it)

i stopped playing after they added breeding over all, the game developers went from being a fun game with no real pay walls to a pay wall at every turn. Last i checked we were still waiting for western sections but they hide it behind and over priced VIP pay wall. it's sad

I thought this was gonna be the F2P way to get a pegasus, and I was wrong, It's VIP too!!
I like that its Winged guaranteed, and also that now you can have Pegasi with cool coats ... but at least let F2P breed the one with the Quarter/Evervale/Paint model!! If most players players get a flying horse they could implement flying races smh

Yeah I hope but I’m going to save up to VIP. VIP is kind like a bonus for me the Pegasus is a bonus too you don’t need Pegasus to play the game they kind like a bonus! It’s how I see it :)

The best VIP perks, that don't exclude F2P from gameplay features, for me are discounts, because you spent a lot of money in the game so you deserve to have reduced prices, like the normal breedings have half the price. Tbh i wanna become a VIP more because of the discounts than to be able to pull for the Winged stables lol

Foxy should definitely open their eyes and realise that their game is really greedy and expensive. It's so sad how u have to pay for basically everything to somewhat enjoy the game.

This is starting to feel disrespectful. For us to actually give out free money and not be rewarded in a game that feels so small, with so many glitches and lags. Not enough storyline.I can love a grind, but not a months worth.

I quit this game right after launch and kept up with it by watching you and other people. The graphics are amazing, but It's honestly just genshin clone with horses and absurd prices marketed towards kids. Gambling for kids is illegal btw so idk how are games like these even legal?
