Even Show Me the Light couldn't cheer me up after such a sad and heartbreaking opening speech from Dany. The loss of a friend is one of the worst things in everyone's life. A year before graduation, in the summer in rainy weather, one of my friends crashed on a moped. He has an older sister and a twin brother, who is also my friend. And every time I see them, and especially when I see his brother, I remember the one we lost. Many years have passed, but the memory of Alexey is still alive. I sympathize with Dany and understand her feelings. It's all very hard. The only thing we can do is to remember only the best that is connected with the dead, in order to somehow calm the pain of our soul.
I lost my youngest daughter in June. She just turned 18, graduated High School, and she was one week away from starting Navy bootcamp. Holidays have been extremely hard for my wife and I. Thank you for this video. ❤️💕❤️💕🤘🤘

Don't lose that emotion. Be real and be you. Life experience will only make you stronger. Never be afraid to show your true self or true feelings. It is what makes you so great. A true artist is not afraid to show the pain and joys of life as they live it. I am old and lived through many losses of friends from suicide to natural deaths. Be strong and use your music to express your feelings and you will always succeed.
One of my nephews couldn't handle his sadness anymore, this year. I wish he could have stayed around. I'm 58, so I have learned about loss, but some losses strike deeper veins than others. I appreciate this. 😔

I didn't know I could love this band and its individual personalities any more than I already did, until I watched this video. My dad died 17 years ago between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so this time of the year has been difficult for me ever since. Wow, I’m sitting here sobbing. So beautiful, so open, so vulnerable. Sometimes we forget that professional musicians are human too and have the same struggles we do. They aren’t just robots on a stage. I’m so happy Dany shared that with us. Yet again one of the million reasons we love the Villarreal sisters. You sound like yourself. It takes me 2 seconds to know it's you. Your singing is original and is possibly my favorite. As of right now, I can't think of anyone else that sings more beautiful. Thank you for sharing such an emotional part of your life. I lost my brother June 15, 2018 and I think of him and miss him everyday. I suffered from survivor’s remorse for so long. Still do somedays. I still cry when I talk about him ❤️💔💛 thank you for providing empowering music that helps so many people

I'm so very sorry for your loss, Dany. I went through something in a kind of similar vein when I was 19. That's a terrible age to lose a close friend or girlfriend or boyfriend. Tonight you provided a beautiful, loving, very special tribute to your friend, and I hope it helps you heal. I'm sure your friend was listening 🙂 It helped me heal a bit too, many many years later.

I have always taken most I see on social media with a little (I can't think of the word and English is my first language lol) scepticism (not the word) as they tend to show the person as they want to be seen. Not the true moments; the no makeup days the frumpy cloths days and the I had a hard night, I don't want to get out of bed moments etc. I am not saying that about you and your sisters because I have seen your posts where these days are shown and I feel that I have had a real glimpse into the authentic Vilarreal Velez sisters and family.
