Man, I loved, worshipped and adored this series it led me into martial arts training. Loved the influence, there is nothing like it today! Brilliant! Extraordinary! and so inspiriing. What can I say, breathtaking!
Man I wanna tell you how glad I am and surprised to find the colorised version of my favorite iconic "The Samurai" series. It's such a joy to finally see it in color, and enjoy the costumes, the hakamas, plus all the landscapes in color. You're doing a great job. My only contention though is that the episodes in your collection aren't numbered so there's no way of knowing if they're in chronological order, or if the episodes follow the stories according to their order. Other than that, it's really quite nice to the eyes. Thanks a lot Steve.
I can't believe it, watched this sooo many times early in the morning on holidays when I was a kid. Still has the mistique it always had
Damn, back in '98 when I was a 4th grader, I used to watch this on friday evening on romanian state television channel no.2. Memories

As a teenager, I loved watching the samurai and had a huge crush on shintaro. As a result I always dreamed of travelling to Japan

Excellent. So full of atmosphere. You can't manufacture this kind of drama today. It stands alone.

series 2, episode 4. I love this episode as KUROBEI is touched by SHINTARO's heart.

Amazing colourising technique. How was it done? With what program?
How about uploading the episodes with the original Japanese soundtrack? That would really be great!!
How about some Play School videos, Steve?
Nothing worse than a conflicted ninja. It badly affects their work.
