Sound selection is one of the most important things in music. Think of it as how you do vocals, you cannot mix a bad vocal and make it good, the standard vocal must be good first, same with the sounds you pick and/place for your beats
You don't need to oversample gclip, clipping kicks won't really generate audible aliasing, especially with a soft knee, also the dev kinda botched the filter. It's actually increases aliasing instead of the opposite, and oversampling actually causes overshoots because of gibbs phenomenon
Great content as always! Next time may you show us the final frequencies spectrum through SPAN to understand how the frequencies are hitting all together? Thank you
What’s up man ? Great tutorial as usual 👌🏽! I just have one question: I don’t really get what’s the leveling difference between the first knob on the channel rack and in the mixer ?
Always dope af bro....please make a part 2 on mastering it....stereo width and multiband compression that you taught from your recent tutorial on this beat 🙏🏽💯🙏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
EQ cutting out 20hz and below with a high pass. Soft clipper. But this was just to make sure I don’t clip while recording the video. I always have one on just in case, so if I accidentally push something really loud, it doesn’t mess up the video.
His raw beat sounds better than my all over mix 😂
Mine too😭

Where's the tutorial on this beat??
Whats the significance of listing on mono in the master?
It let's you hear any phasing issues, and helps you hear what is clashing EQ wise
