the woman yodeling in the background while im being trailed by 50+ zombies down a street because i cant lose them going through houses theme, my favorite!
I lost my character "Clint Young" to this song because I was trying to help my friend get out of a sticky situation, but lag made me stay for longer than I had intended, and then Clint became dinner. This played today with Titus Gutierrez who was risking their life for a Generator, like the game was predicting I'd die again here. He survived with a scratched left hand and he is doing a-ok with ~200 Zombie Kills. I fucking love this game, I feel like I'm documenting the history of all my characters and what caused their deaths/what they did/why they were important.
So there I was, getting the fuck out of west point on foot because there were to many zombies, gathered enough food, decent amount of ammo. I trekked for two days down a road in search of a town, getting lucky when I found a convivence store for some soda. Seeing signs of bigger zombie hordes, must be close to a town, rain starts pouring, hard. Very hard. What the hell? Freak thunderstorm that obscures My vision from all angles, blocking out the sun. See's an approaching horde, behead them with my machete. Things are good, but my character is soaked, and I'm feeling a bit drowsy as well as exhausted. Noon turns to Dusk, it was getting darker, the black clouds made it seem like it was already night. The rain is obscuring the groans of the dead around me, head on a constant swivel as I search for a safe place to rest. Realize I'm at a town, can't determine where because of how dark it was. Being chased, hand torch immediately comes out, the batteries are low but it should be enough to find me a safe place. It dies, scratch that, it's fucking broken. Fuck they're behind me, gotta find a house! Turns a street, horde the size of the entire width of the street notices me, I turn and dip Into an alley sleeping zombies awake from their slumber, groaning at a new source of food to devour. Hop a fence to lose the horde, only to find myself in the midst of another, surrounded on all sides. I was pincered, cornered, moderately exhausted and extremely panicked. I rack my brain and decide on how to escape a pincer attack. That was to choose a side and overpower it with overwhelming force and run through it. I don't know what powered my will to continue from there, desperation? fear? the will to survive? All I know is that I didn't choose to give up and die. Smg in hands I look right, there's a lot of groans, their hands are up ready to tear me apart. I unleashed a flurry of bullets into the horde, it didn't matter if I was proficient or not with the gun as each and every bullet connected with flesh. Each flash revealed the giant horde to me, how close my inevitable demise was, but allowed me to see what I could do, a brief opening I miraculously saw in the darkness. I took it. Sprinting full speed into the opening I created, not caring what lied just beyond the horde, would there be more? I didn't even care, my gasps of air echoed along with the thousands of groans around me. It overpowered the thunderstorm of the night, each store I passed they were there, watching, hungry, growling at me. They were everywhere. I turned a corner, more zombies, but they were thinning, and I could see trees. This was it, this was my only chance! With my tail tucked behind me I ran into the pitch black night, splashes of puddles from the streets turned into squelches of mud. I don't know how far I ran, I ran so far until I could no longer run. Ridiculously tired, exhausted, and starting to feel the tax of gear on my body I collapsed in the middle of an opening. There were scratches on my body, loose twigs must've scratched me as I ran...but that didn't matter. Inane laughter came from me as I just sat there. I did it...I somehow survived. But for how much longer. I've lost everything, my home at west point, my dignity when I left my friend to be devoured to escape myself? Groans echoing from the forest prompted me to get up and ignore my exhausted beaten body. With Grim determination I set one foot after the other, despite knowing... What Was Lost. (This actually happened)
It sounds like she's singing the word Help or Hell either of which would be appropriate considering mankind is being killed and zombified at an alarming rate in 1993! That's before even the 20th century has finished! I hope humanity at least makes it to the 21st century.
Driving through hordes of zombies while you put the pedal to the metal and bob and weave through hordes desperately trying to escape after a risky looting run while this blasts at full volume has been one of the most immersive moments I've had in gaming. It really feels like you're fighting for your life against innumerable odds.
Its all fun and games till the music starts playing and you are sitting inside a barely fortified house and start hearing groans and bangs in every direction inside of said base while you only have a nearly broken melee weapon and a .22 with around 3 mags worth of ammo
ESP- este OST te pone la piel de gallina cuando viene una mega horda que es atraída por un helicóptero ENG -this OST gives you goosebumps when a mega horde comes that is attracted by a helicopter
Your head is foggy, you haven't eaten days. Your arms hurt, the baseball bat that's been your lifeline is broken. Your leg is broken, it happened when you jumped out the second floor window. All around the undead close in as you desperately try and hobble to safety
Everytime this comes up, i decide to rather run than fight. Something about this gives me the creeping feeling that something is up and ill be sourrounded soon.
They're are three versions of what was lost, the original, mutation 1 and mutation 2... I'm genuinely distraught they didn't remaster the original WWL, as it was the first ever song for zomboid.
The original project zomboid had a woman singing in egyptian Arabic as the main theme, so I'd say a lot of middle eastern music and sounds were in the assets they bought to make the game
@@xxricsixx2014 Its apart of the dynamic music addition. I beleive they'll play the levels of music based off of in game events- though right now I think its just based on the amount of zombies?
@@Det.Bossman oh thanks. I heard this music ingame and it was awesome so i searched it up. Thinking back it was while fighting with lots of zombies and looting a gas station.... it was epic.
