It protects the shadows without the risk of ruining them with an alcohol repress and it looks better than keeping them in the original container but broken.... What is that orange shimmer shade in the Colourpop Supershock single shadow?

Crush up the broken eyeshadow in a tiny dish then mix into a paste with methylated spirits or isopropyl and use a tiny spatula like you get with a moisturizer to spoon it back in its case and shape it. Dry overnight.
