Marcus, I’m curious why you got the 3 version instead of the Air-Across 2. The 2 folds up shorter and the head is larger so you would not be fumbling with it like you were. It is also cheaper.
I'm looking for a lightweight tripod for my heavy full frame body and lenses. This is lightweight and unique design. However, I wonder how strong are the locking mechanism of the legs. When I tested this out and lock the legs by turning it, it feels very fragile with a cracking sounds... Repeating the locking and unlocking of the legs, will this last for many years? Thanks for the answer
