All the VHS tapes are making me think about the enormously heavy box tvs that were missing buttons and shocked you when they turned on 🤨🤣 I loved watching those movies though and sifting through the tapes ❤

We had a "small" one in our room. We lost the remote of course and the [up] button was pressed in so we had to shimmy a colored pencil in there to change channels 😁 good times

I was real young in the 2000s but girl I still remember those VHS tapes and how many I watched (especially Land before time 😭) we still have them today most of them from the early way back days and it’s so weird but I love it. I love this video btw 💕

I'll still use vhs tapes at my grandparents if there's nothing on
I was never a 2000 kid I was born in 2007 so it was already the start of the 2010s, but I grew up with VHS tapes. I had every Disney movie, my favorite one was Cinderella. I would watch it every night before I went to sleep, I remember that I loved it so much I begged my dad to put the big boxy TV with the VHS recorder in the bathroom for me so I could watch it while I bathed haha. This video was super relaxing, I absolutely loved it. I wish it was like this now, where kids weren't worried so much about how the world perceives them and social media. This video brought a lot of nostalgia to me.

When you said about it being the first time you had someone stay over it just reminded me so much of my childhood. I was barely allowed out, to stay at others or to have others stay at mine, but it’s so different now in my family, I’m 25 and all my siblings are under 11 and they always have friends over or are going out, but my mum never let me have a sleepover until I was like 12. Always mention this to her

Oh my gosh I had that Beauty and the Beast VHS tape 😭😭 I remember taking the cover out of the plastic cover and it having a different picture on the back. Also it had a computer game cd taped to the back that I absolutely loved to play!!! The Magical Ballroom!! 💛💜

I remember I used to do those landyards literally all day (my mom sent me to daycare and we had those), once I made one as long as a jumprope and I found it a couple months ago. Its red and pink and even those I cant jump with it anymore, its still surprising to me how much effort I put into those as a kid 😅

Pocahontas was my favorite as a kid. I had a raincoat with her on it and dressed like her for Halloween. I even had her bed sheets. That just made me miss being a kid so much. Love this, reminds me of the sleepovers I had with my best friend jessica when we were little.
