DOUBLE HIGH RISK UK SEVERE STORM CHASE

on August 1st, 2024 a rare double high-risk was issued for the UK. producing multiple severe thunderstorms. I would chase some incredible thunderstorms with amazing structure. Unfortunately not much lightning was visible

Nice job. There's a little know Rule of Nature that is the lightning bolt will come down the second you move your camera's viewpoint. The music is very nice! The sunset was stunning!

We live close to RAF Fairford and this was the storm that led to our cottage being hit by lightning. Fortunately, we had lightning surge protection but it still came down out external telephone line and took out our telephone base unit and the BT wall socket was burnt out. The lightning strike hit us before the rain came!
