Mr. C You do the best shopping videos! Few yrs ago another TH-camr said it was almost impossible to find nice fall decor like she sees on US videos. Looks like the UK has really up the game, saw so many great things!
Thank you for letting us see Pumpkin and Mittens. It has been nearly 2 years since We lost our Golden Tabby Eddie, and seeing Mittens reminds Me so much of Him.
The tour rounds the shops was great you are so calm going round picking items up and explaining what they are and what you can use them for.

Loved the haul. I bought one of the teapots for birds nesting about two years ago I had robins nesting in my ivy hedge, watched them and loved seeing the babies around the garden.
I instantly seen that silver disco effect pumpkin and thought Mark Ferris would love that, he has loads of those disco balls in his flat 😂
The storage book you got for Helen, if she doesn't like the pattern, you could always take copies of pictures etc that she does like and do a collage on it 😊

Hi Iwan from a damp North East Lincolnshire. This isn,t related to this vlog but i have just been watching your cookery vlogs with your crock pot. I love using my crock pot & am usually stuck for something different to cook. What a variety & so visually satisfying. All our decor over here features snow and wintry weather - obviously - so I was wondering what sort of decorations do you have for Xmas in Australia??

Liked it I loved it .I absolutely love mittens and pumpkin .and it's really good that you put out ther the stance on safety as a lot of young ones don't wear helmets when cycling so it's good for them to see your using safety and they may see that and will think on .thankyou for your vidios

Hi Mr Carrington. Just catching up on videos today as we have just came back from a break so haven’t been online much. I loved seeing round the shops with you and wish we had a sostrene grene where I live. I don’t decorate for Halloween or autumn but I still enjoy seeing what people buy to decorate with. I used to decorate for Halloween a little bit when my daughters were little but not now. I always love your videos you always make me smile. Have a lovely day and a great week ❤️

🤣 the night-time snacks made me laugh, literally me & the bf with a movie after tea - maltesars (tick), cornettos (tick) 🙈
I have a FUN TIP if you live upstairs, and the recycling is down and outside. I just take it all onto the balcony, and lob it over the edge, in the general direction of the bins. It's really fun! And then just go down and pop it in the bin! No carrying necessary 😊 and it's good fun :) plastic bottles/card etc. NOT glass jars tho lol 😂❤

Hi iwan thanks r bringing us 4 a nosey around the shops, I'm definitely getting one of the disco ball pumpkins they r fab I've seemed to have misplaced my autumn decor all I could find was 1 pumpkin so I've definitely have 2 hit the shops 4 some bits, love the teapot birdhouse we did have some robins nesting in our garden last year they r so cute my favourite birds❤ have a great weekend take care lots of love❤

Omg lots of things in your primark i love but i am sure mine wouldnt have them as the homeware is so small.

Seeing the teapot bird nest, I couldn’t not have a thought for our dear Catherine @daintydiaries. I do so think of her and her family in this sad time. I hope she knows we love her as much we do you Mr C. ❤
Last yr b-day gifting… we used the ivory wicker basket u showed! The rectangular one… we filled it as a Pamper-Hamper for a loved one!
Morning Mr C! Comfortable on the sofa with a cuppa and assorted snacks to live vicariously through you on this surprisingly sunny Sunday morning. I was up with the birds this morning so did a flat clean and declutter with the old paper shredding so it's nice to just take a breather. TCR is lovely on a weekend morning because it's so quiet which I prefer because I always have a shopping list that I try to stick to (never do as there is always something that catches my eye). The Marble Arch branch is also great if you head straight for what you want - you can be in and out in a jiffy. Have a lovely week!

The dish drainer could be used for either. I wouldn't get rid of the other one if you have someplace to store it though, would be nice to have both in the event you had a lot of dishes to wash around the holidays! Loved the pumpkin mugs towards the end of the video, if you were having a small dinner party, those would be fun to get to go with dessert and then let each guest take theirs home.

You would be surprised on how much shops throw away good things that don't sell in the dumpster behind the shops
I went into sostrene grene in derby last week, but didn't see any autumn bits, but that is my favourite shop. I don't always buy anything, but I would love to decorate a home with most that you see.
I cant get my head around why Halloween is so popular for household items for basically for 1 day think its got so commercialised suppose influencers have to show for other people im glad you waited until later to show this off as most showing autumn in July which is so annoying .Still enjoy all your vlogs.
Some people like to decorate for the seasons, personally I don’t but I do enjoy watching those that do. ( I’m just lazy and couldn’t be bothered with the hassle of changing everything)

I don't understand it either. Personally, I despise Halloween with a passion and never understand why people decorate their homes according to the season. Just my view, but I feel the UK is getting too Americanised with certain things. Anyhoo, each to their own I suppose, we can't all like the same things. Thank you for another great Vlog Mr C 😊
I’ve enjoyed your video, couldn’t believe you were out to be shopping at 7.30am! Not a fan of Halloween, think life can be dark enough without embracing skeletons, witches, gouls, gravestones etc, and as for pumpkin mania. I guess commercially it’s good business.
People decorate for Xmas, so some also decorate for Halloween 🎃. Or for the fall.
I can say that I prefer darker and richer colours in autumn 🍂 time. And summer time fresh and flower tones, also cool tones.
I don’t decorate for the seasons but I would like to. 😅
Only reason is that first would be expensive, then I would have to find space for it all and lastly…. Would be more tat in the world.
I do however always have a wreath on my front door 😂.

Love that I can now pronounce Sosterene Grene after watching your video ! I went into the one in York last week and can say their teas are lovely, will be popping into B&M tomorrow after seeing your haul and have already bought a green velver pumpkin from Primark although I'm trying to cling onto summer for a bit longer 😊❤

I do believe søsterene grene is a Danish store, I shop there a lot its a great place to shop for nice yet slightly cheap things. Wonder if you would be able to see the Danish price on the tag 🙂 . I just love the things you picked up.
Good morning from sunny Spain. I'm in a nice little village on the outskirts of Madrid and just enjoyed coffee and pastries for breakfast. I'm going to watch as much as I can before I have to check out and head to the airport - just as well I packed before breakfast. On another note I can't believe how early the autumnal stuff is in the shops this year. Still, makes a change from Home Bargains launching it's Christmas range in August last year 🙄🤣 That said, I haven't noticed anything in the Spanish shops so maybe it's just us that likes to be early 😂

Ps. Put rubber feet on your green metal basket so it doesn't scratch your work surfaces.

You could braid some thin sisal rope, twine or raffia and use it to wrap things to give them the look of that pumpkin, or anything you want to upcycle to a more rustic style. I often shop like this and think “I could make that” but rarely do these days! I still have a room full of craft supplies and things for upcycling, but I’m short on time and energy.
My kiddos have had a great time in London but it went so fast. They’ve since been to Liverpool (absolutely loved it), Manchester and Sheffield to visit family and have taken the train to Edinburgh today. Hiring a car to explore a bit of Scotland and will fly out of Glasgow to spend some time in Dublin and take day trips as they are also hiring a car over there. They both have Aussie friends living in London, so I share your shopping videos with them to give them ideas of where to shop instead of IKEA 😂.
Another great Sunday morning watch, Autumn is definitely on the way started getting a few bits out today. When I do my decking I use an old soft broom and bucket for the stain gets the job done in no time x

I’ve started to pick up autumnal bits at the car boots. If you look it’s amazing how many things are actually those brown, dark green and orange colours. I’m still firmly in summer mode though, it feels like we’ve been cheated of it with all of this rain so I’m clinging on for as long as possible ☀️

Favourites containers and little grater,b and m had nice things
If you use a dry cloth and put a little fabric conditioner on it, and wipe over wooden surfaces, it acts as a good dust deterrent, better than polish.
