Colin clearly didn’t watch this game. The defense couldn’t stop anyone all night but then bailed themselves with the timely turnovers. The turnovers were all deep in Steelers territory leaving them with field position no different than a punt which the defense didn’t really make Dallas do the whole game. Obviously the offense could’ve been better but when push came to shove they drove for a go ahead td and the defense couldn’t get a stop. So don’t give me the defense did its job. Dallas dominated possession not because of the Steelers offense but because the defense couldn’t stop them from moving the ball the entire game.
Coming from a Falcons fan, Arthur Smith has been living off improving Ryan Tannehill for years. Steelers offense looks just like Atlanta’s for the last 3 years. Not saying Fields is great but are we sure the OC is either?
Falcons fan also, I keep saying Arthur Smith is going to have to prove that he can call an offense that isn't just hand the ball of to Derrik Henry. Go back and watch his last playoff game in Tennessee when their opponent contained and frustrated Henry that offense stalled.
Desmond Ridder is awful and Fields isn't much better. Coaches can only do so much with garbage players.

His philosophy is outdated and his teams have a low ceiling in the post season. It's funny how everyone says Tomlin is a great coach and Doc Rivers is horrible, when they're literally the same coach in different sports. Both haven't won since 2008, they consistently have competitive teams but underachieve in the playoffs (Doc and his blown leads and Tomlin losing to Tebow, Bortles and Garrard).

McVay, both Harbaughs, LaFluer, Reid, Campbell, Payton, Ryans, Steichen, O'Connell, Shanahan are all coaches I would take over Tomlin right now. 95% of the league would take Tomlin you say? Okay just so we’re clear, Aaron is atrocious according to Colin because he lost a 1 possession game to what appears to be the best team in the league right now?
The Vikings held the Texans (who have way more weapons) to 7 points and blew them smooth out.
The Jets D gave up 17 in first half, Aaron was down 17-0 and came back to within 3 pts at 20-17, and finished 23-17. That’s hard to do when you’re down 3 possessions.
Meanwhile poster boy Josh Allen also in the AFC East has went missing completely for 2 weeks and you blame it on coaching on the podcast last night lol. He was 9/30 (30%) and is 42% completion over the last 2 weeks lmao. And CJ stroud was trying to give him the game.

Either way you’re gonna have to take a shot and the defense knows you’re going to 5 so all things considered, it’s a high probability that game ends in disappointing fashion. Again, Rodgers didn’t play the best game but he got it to 1 possession against the best team in the league. Certainly wouldn’t call it an abysmal performance
Jets and Vikings fans need to relax. The Vikings have made every QB look bad this year. Jets defense is very good and I think Darnold was hurt from that rib shot, which is why he was sailing passes.

Before yesterday’s game everyone would have said the Seahawks had a better defense than Dallas. Yet the Giants were able to run for 172 yards week 5 vs 26 in Week 4. Dallas defense stepped up better than anyone was expecting even without their stars. That was the only real surprise in this game. You weren’t saying this last week when Fields threw for 300 yards 😂

I think it’s not about the Steelers. The Steelers play how they been playing since last year. The fact is that Dallas and Dak step up when it matters the most. Most of this close games Cowboys loose. Is not about the Steelers loosing is about the Cowboys winning.
I think Arthur Smith is doing his best with Fields. I think he will open the play book when Wilson takes over. Fields hasn’t been making many plays, but he isn’t turning the ball either. They can win games with that formula, let’s be real they were a 4th down stoppage away from winning that game.
