Oh Peter. I am so deeply sorry. Losing my beloved Mom is honestly one of the most painful experiences of my life. We were very close and I adored her. I live the photo of your mom. She looks so kind. My wonderful mother-in-law passed away 3 years ago after an 18-month battle with a Glioblastoma. I had previously lost my best friend from this horrific cancer. My heartfelt care is with you and your family. Thank you for this wonderful review. It’s much appreciated. Be gentle with yourself okay? Grief is tough. Just take it slow. I appreciate your reviews so much and it’s like listening to a friend! I care! I bet you were a doting son! I can tell! Condolences to you and your sister and family.
Thank you for all the kind words. Cancer SUCKS! it was a fast decline and it's all such a blur right now. I think it was 8 weeks from the diagnosis until she passed. Thankfully it was not painful and all 4 of her children along with the spouses were at her side until the end. It certainly has taken a toll on us all and hopefully the tone of my videos will start to pick up soon. It's hard to hide the grief from the camera. Thank you for the support.
@@whiskeyisajourney Cancer absolutely sucks Peter. Hey please don't worry about hiding your grief. I think everyone who has lost such a close parent really understands the enormous sense of grief that hits in such a powerful way. I am so relieved to know that your mom didn't have to endure pain but I can imagine how such a massive change in such a small period of time must feel overwhelming at times, The most important things is that there wasn't prolonged suffering but for the loving family left behind such a fast loss after receiving the diagnosis is very tough. Brain cancers are often ruthless and it feels so unfair. I am moved that you could all be with your mom in her last couple of months of life and I am sure that gave her enormous comfort. I know it did for my mom. If her kids were with her she felt safe, loved and comforted, My heartfelt care is with you Peter and please know as I watch your terrific videos I am always sending along kindness in this time of loss. I understand this path. Peace.
Thank you. It's a devastating loss to say the least. It's unrealistic, but for some reason I thought she was invincible and now that she is gone reality smacked me in the face.
Thank you for having Mom pop up in you video. She raised 4 amazing kids as a single Mother in the 70's 80's that's super impressive. Absolutely love watching your videos, makes me want to run and grab a bottle from store and get to sniffing..Love you Bro...❤❤
Thank you Robert. Love you as well. You are among a group of friends that knows just how special she was to the family and how influential she was to everyone around her. She was bound and determined to fight for her kids and provide the best life she could as a single parent living right at the poverty line. It's absolutely amazing what she accomplished with so little. It was always an uphill battle for her and she never stopped fighting.
Thank you for your dedication to your channel. I too am so very sorry for your loss. Being the caregiver for a parent or a spouse (as in my case) is so very hard and taxing. There is comfort that your mother is in a better place.
Very sorry for your loss. It's not easy taking care of a parent. I hope you can cherish the good times you had with her, while you are mourning her loss.
ahh man!! im really sorry to hear about your loss. awful. just had a best mate dad who passed with a brain tumour. hoping for the best for you and your family going forward.
Man sorry for loss bro, can't imagine what you and family going through at the moment, big respect for still getting ya reviews out but man I'd be having more than 1 pour if I was in situation, sending love and support from Australia bro, head up stay strong and pour big, I'll have a Glen for ya when I finish work 🥃🥃
Sorry about your loss. It is never easy to lose a parent. I have heard enough people push back at Chestnut Farms that I have just avoided the product. I've even gotten my wife aware enough that if it is a Total Wine brand, to not buy it.
Sympathies on your loss 😥. As for Chestnut farms, the least offensive I've had is the Bottled-in-Bond. But even that feels like marked up 1792 BIB. I honestly wonder what the behind the scenes is like on that brand. It just feels like a cash grab against unaware consumers.
Sorry do the loss of your mother, Peter. I can easily say she must have been an incredible woman, simply by getting to know your channel and your own character. Regarding the whiskey…so to clarify, it is believed to be Barton 1792 juice?
Thanks. All four kids are who we are because of the exceptional job she did raising us. I don't think this distillery is used to produce 1792, but the distillers are 1792 distillers. I'm still confused about the whole thing.

Sorry for your loss of your mother ❤❤❤ $150 for 1792 reject juice is criminal
Thanks.

Thank you. Every time I go into Total Wine they push it. It's best just to avoid it in my opinion.
Sending condolences to you and your family.
Thank you Mat.

Thank you Anthony. I am leaning towards the idea of unaware consumers as well. I think they got me. Cheers.
What advice can you give me to get comfortable making videos for a startup TH-camr
Be yourself. Don't fake anything and talk to the camera like it's a friend. It's awkward to start but gets easier as you go.

Yeah TW brand that they push, overpriced. I rather get the 1792 smb or sib for far less than this.
I agree. I am sticking with 1792. This will be my only bottle of Chestnut Farms I ever purchase. Cheers!
