Amazing video and article! A few friends and I are planning a camping trip up here next weekend. We plan on packing our camping gear on the motorcycles and we have one novice rider. How muddy is it? If it's just puddles every now and again, that should be fine but if there is long sections of slick mud we might need to try a different location. We planned on doing the south section starting in Ephraim and going north up to highway 6. Any tips or things you think I should know especially for some adventure motorcycle riders?
Last I heard (6/20), the south section was not open yet due to heavy drifts. You may be able to ride the north section (north of UT-31) but I would expect mud given the heavy winter. You may want to post on the site to see if anyone has done it recently: www.roadtripryan.com/go/t/other/odds-and-ends-area/skyline-drive
