- More fireworks shell videos... this time a "comparison" between 2" all the way up to 16". In my opinion, always nice to see to learn about effects, timing, height, break etc. + like I said in my NYE video, we have a lot of Del Vicario products this year so need to try to get it up in the sky.

Awesome, not many people appreciate how much more powder there is, when going up in size one or 2 inches, from 6" to 8".
It is quite a lot more!
Also how much higher the larger shells get in the air.

Exactly, there are some charts online that give a rough estimate for diameter and it's effect on weight, speed, height, powder mass and effect diameter.
Fun fact: you can fit all the shells seen in in this video in the volume of the 16inch and still have room for 16 additional 3 inch shells.
4,1 cu-in - the volume of a 2 inch shell
14,3 cu-in - the volume of a 3 inch shell
33,5 cu-in - the volume of a 4 inch shell
65,5 cu-in - the volume of a 5 inch shell
113,1 cu-in - the volume of a 6 inch shell
268,1 cu-in - the volume of a 8 inch shell
523,6 cu-in - the volume of a 10 inch shell
904,8 cu-in - the volume of a 12 inch shell
2144,7 cu-in - the volume of a 16 inch shell
I got a bit carried away but hey... these are the volumes of the shells in this video and it is quite significant. You can almost fit 5 6" shells in a 10" one. Makes it obvious why the difference in effect is as significant.

12" usually comes two / box. 16" one.
