With me, the flavors of dragon fruit is not much, like i made syrup fruit dragon i will do not cook it with simple syrup cus the aroma+ flavor just have a little after cook, so with me ill mudding really good dragons fruit, then infused in simple syrup for 2 to 3 day, it will keep more flavor and aroma!

The red meat is usually more round whilst the white is more elliptical. Best to ask the seller if unsure!

could you like use a rough food processor i wonder and run the seeds through a cheesecloth or would that make the syrup murky?
For syrup, I prefer it clear and the resulting drink would also be 'cleaner'. If you include the bits then it would be a puree.
