Thoroughly enjoyed this film; was dancing on my couch a lot, and crushing again on La Lancashire. Love the exuberance, and the gentle heart of this story. Loved the drag history montage, as I lived through it and lost many friends to AIDS. Kudos to all involved, and to inspired performances by the cast. Go Jamie! Go Jamie!
I have just watched the film and it was FABULOUS, but the scene in the shop, when we see the younger Loco Chanel on the video, am I right in thinking that the younger Coco was played by John Mccrea? I'm sure I'm right and it would be perfect if it was him as John was the first to play Jamie.
I've watched the movie multiple times and I now want to see the stage version heard that it was best to go see it live but with the movie I know all the songs word for word
Go see this film. now. do it now. not only is it a brilliant adaptation of a WONDERFUL musical, but it has one of the most heartbreakingly beautiful songs i've ever heard in my entire life. "This was me" made me pause the film and just SOB for a few minutes. nothing but the biggest love letter to the brave kings and queens who came before us. this trans man couldn't be open and proud of who I am without the people shown in that song.

Saw this on the big screen at an independent movie house, absolutely loved it, now booked to see the stage version! Go Jamie!
