One who is taught the word must share all good things with the one who teaches. It's easy. The more they enjoy their fame, the more corrupt they are. The more they sing praises, the more corrupt they are. The louder they pray, the more corrupt they are. Those who are not corrupt sing the LORD's praises in private, they shy away from public eye and when they pray, they pray in silence. Is your favorite celebrity preacher corrupt? Yes. Yes he is.

@@khatack I used to be painfully shy around people at church, but now, if I hear a song that moves the Holy Spirit within me, I won’t feel embarrassed to worship him by standing up with my arms up. When the Holy Spirit touches me in such a manner, the other people in the room just fade away as though they’re not even there and it’s just me and my Lord. I no longer care about what others think, only what God thinks about me.
I have been blessed to be working in ministry for 36 years, by God’s grace. One red flag that has always stuck out to me is when a person names a ministry after himself/herself. Radio has always been more meaningful to me because it removes much of the personality that TV brings. Faith comes by hearing. We have such a cult of personalities in our society. God has always kept us dependent on daily manna. No excess. I have fallen and been restored many times. I suspect that this will continue to a degree until the day God separates my spirit from my sinful flesh for eternity. But I have witnessed far too many miracles and outpourings of Jesus’ grace, restoration and provision to ever doubt Him or my salvation. I was sealed.
When I see a or hear of a ministry and it’s titled after the main minister I turn the other way because all you hear is about how close to God they are and how God talks to them more personally then HE talks to us as if they themselves are not sinners and are more holy then we ourselves are which is why they have million dollar homes, airplanes, & travel all over the world. These people don’t preach the gospel about the one true God we believe in, it may sound like it satan loves to imitate Christ.

@@blindvision4703 What it means is that you have to have control of your carnal desires ( make your body your slave/have control over it) especially for a preacher. Paul did not want to lose his crown or possibly salvation. It’s not about financial remuneration.
The love of a soft peaceful gospel will be our own undoing ultimately. I have nothing against Pastor Joe, I believe his messages are pretty insightful. However, let's consider someone who's probably listening blindly to some of the preachers on his list. The Gospel is not our own message but from the Father Himself. If we have a chance to spread it, we shouldn't leave out anything that could save the other person. Otherwise, be blessed Sister Brenda.

I’m 68 years old, I became a Christian in 1978, and am glad to say I haven’t stopped learning about our Lord - I don’t want to stop, actually. The more I read the Word and listen to wise teachers like this the more I realize how much I truly do not know.
Hi Alan Olsen I was saved 1980. I noticed in the start of 2020, everything I had learnt over the years about Bible prophesy that I ever wondered about, came to life instantly. I couldn’t connect the dots fast enough. I have been awaken to a whole new level & embraced Gods word, like never before. I agree with you, wise teachers like Joe were meant for these times. There are a few on you tube that I give thanks to God for. It’s like God speaks through each one, connecting their messages. It is true, God does show us, what we couldn’t quite understand……. I was saved in Jan of 1984, and I say the same thing. I've come to understand that God is Eternal and that we will never stop learning about Him - that's how I've reasoned it in my mind, especially when I've seen God in the Secret Place and said, "GOD, I don't know you!" That's very real and true for me. We will never stop learning about this amazing God - there is no end to Him.

He believed exactly what you are saying, and also that preachers are often tempted to soften the message so as not to offend the big money givers,. What has helped me is this....When I pray I always ask to be led away from the things that God hates and only do the things that He loves..... Can you explain this more please? Like what does don't love the world really mean? I'm kind of beating myself up trying to figure it out. Sometimes I say I hate the world but my dad tells me not to say that because it's God's creation and that he could take me out of it but at the same time if I say I love the world, God wouldn't like that. I'm blessed to have found your channel. I've been around Christians that behave badly to the point of leaving my church. I have gotten so much more spiritual on my own. I love our Lord God and His Son Jesus Christ who guides me through this life every step of the way. Jesus saved my life!

recently I heard of a pastor who I have listened to many times with much respect....fell from grace...and it broke my heart, in the midst of that the Lord spoke to me and said....our hope is in Him not a man. No man can ever compare to the living God....No man should be thought so highly of...we fail...He does not...ever! God Bless.

My heart was hardened for years, Im in my 50's now, it wasn't until I was able to forgive the one's that caused the pain. holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.

There are only two ministers that I listen to on a regular basis: Charles Stanley of The First Baptist Church in Atlanta and the late Adrian Rogers of Bellevue Baptist Church of Memphis. Dr.Stanley is so gentle yet powerful, and Reverend Rogers gets "fired up" when teaching the Gospel. I admire your strong but gentle spirit. I am now a new subscriber. Much of what you're feeling here applies to my own journey with Christ. I had been beating myself up trying to obtain closeness to Jesus until his grace reminded me which definition of 'closeness' He desires from me.

It's easy. The more they enjoy their fame, the more corrupt they are. The more they sing praises, the more corrupt they are. The louder they pray, the more corrupt they are. Those who are not corrupt sing the LORD's praises in private, they shy away from public eye and when they pray, they pray in silence. Is your favorite celebrity preacher corrupt? Yes. Yes he is.
Amen and never forget to listen and grow from the local preacher who God has sovereignly placed in your neighbourhood to learn from. They may not be famous but if they are faithful that's all that matters. Have a great day - Joe

@@khatack I used to be painfully shy around people at church, but now, if I hear a song that moves the Holy Spirit within me, I won’t feel embarrassed to worship him by standing up with my arms up. When the Holy Spirit touches me in such a manner, the other people in the room just fade away as though they’re not even there and it’s just me and my Lord.
I no longer care about what others think, only what God thinks about me.
I have been blessed to be working in ministry for 36 years, by God’s grace. One red flag that has always stuck out to me is when a person names a ministry after himself/herself. Radio has always been more meaningful to me because it removes much of the personality that TV brings. Faith comes by hearing. We have such a cult of personalities in our society. God has always kept us dependent on daily manna. No excess. I have fallen and been restored many times. I suspect that this will continue to a degree until the day God separates my spirit from my sinful flesh for eternity. But I have witnessed far too many miracles and outpourings of Jesus’ grace, restoration and provision to ever doubt Him or my salvation. I was sealed.
Many Churches are personal,at the end of the day they are beneficiary
When I see a or hear of a ministry and it’s titled after the main minister I turn the other way because all you hear is about how close to God they are and how God talks to them more personally then HE talks to us as if they themselves are not sinners and are more holy then we ourselves are which is why they have million dollar homes, airplanes, & travel all over the world. These people don’t preach the gospel about the one true God we believe in, it may sound like it satan loves to imitate Christ.

The love of a soft peaceful gospel will be our own undoing ultimately. I have nothing against Pastor Joe, I believe his messages are pretty insightful. However, let's consider someone who's probably listening blindly to some of the preachers on his list. The Gospel is not our own message but from the Father Himself. If we have a chance to spread it, we shouldn't leave out anything that could save the other person. Otherwise, be blessed Sister Brenda.

Being a testimony to our immediate family is the greatest test of all! I don't drink alcohol anymore to be an example to my husband and grown children. I need to stand by principles, while serving them when appropriate.

Hi Alan Olsen I was saved 1980. I noticed in the start of 2020, everything I had learnt over the years about Bible prophesy that I ever wondered about, came to life instantly. I couldn’t connect the dots fast enough. I have been awaken to a whole new level & embraced Gods word, like never before. I agree with you, wise teachers like Joe were meant for these times. There are a few on you tube that I give thanks to God for. It’s like God speaks through each one, connecting their messages. It is true, God does show us, what we couldn’t quite understand……. I was saved in Jan of 1984, and I say the same thing. I've come to understand that God is Eternal and that we will never stop learning about Him - that's how I've reasoned it in my mind, especially when I've seen God in the Secret Place and said, "GOD, I don't know you!" That's very real and true for me. We will never stop learning about this amazing God - there is no end to Him.

He believed exactly what you are saying, and also that preachers are often tempted to soften the message so as not to offend the big money givers,. Can you explain this more please? Like what does don't love the world really mean? I'm kind of beating myself up trying to figure it out. Sometimes I say I hate the world but my dad tells me not to say that because it's God's creation and that he could take me out of it but at the same time if I say I love the world, God wouldn't like that. I'm so confused
I'm blessed to have found your channel. I've been around Christians that behave badly to the point of leaving my church. I have gotten so much more spiritual on my own. I love our Lord God and His Son Jesus Christ who guides me through this life every step of the way. Jesus saved my life!

I feel all glory is for God! It's why I made the decision as a female to not physically be in any videos I make. I tried several times to start channels but I didn't like people commenting on my looks. So I removed myself and made it all about God. It can be dangerous getting compliments and getting our egos boosted. I remember everyday all the glory to God. 🙏

I just watched a class taught by Leonard Ravenhill a couple of months ago. He was very good.
There are only two ministers that I listen to on a regular basis: Charles Stanley of The First Baptist Church in Atlanta and the late Adrian Rogers of Bellevue Baptist Church of Memphis. Dr.Stanley is so gentle yet powerful, and Reverend Rogers gets "fired up" when teaching the Gospel. I admire your strong but gentle spirit. I am now a new subscriber.
