Nice work. I'm also working on the transcription of Chucho's recording, but have only gotten as far measure 81, didn't transcribe the solo section. I suggest writing the tune as a danzon, shfting the whole transcription by the rhythmic value of one quarter to the left, thus transfering the note G on 1st beat of bar 4 to the 4th beat of bar 3. That's how it was written in the original score by E. Lecuona. Nevertheless, you've done a great work. I would like to have your transcription and to sent you mine, I have written different voicings on some points.
Hi Richard, great transcription. I'm actually working on this too. I noticed that you didn't notate mm. 184-185. That's the part I'm actually trying to lift and notate and was interested to see if there was already a transcription of it out there somewhere. I'll keep working on it, but interested if you have any thoughts. Thanks, Steve
Hi Steve, thanks! I have to admit I didn't attempt transcribing that run. I would have had to fit so many notes in it would look a bit unintelligible..Good luck though if you've attempted it!
Impresionante, felicitaciones Rich, gracias por el video

This is all wrong by a quarter note. The low G note in the intro should match beat 4, not beat 1.
yep! I agree, its quite easy to shift everything across a crotchet on logic, i'll give it go and repost

Is it possible to have this transcription?
Hey Rick, I'm planning to cover this piece on guitar. Is there any way you could share this transcription? Thank you!
