I just got a vintage camper and have almost this exact wiring setup. Thank you for posting the video. This helped a lot!

Thanks for this video! Wish I could see how you did other things in this camper! I am just starting a 1968 camper I have it all gutted and working on putting it back!

And the reason why all of the lights are daisychained together is because that’s how they wired the running lights in the marker lights on camper trailers back in the day so you can put a 15 or a 10 amp fuse on the first top two to be able to make it so that all your running lights stay on, so you can see your camper at night when you’re out in the middle of nowhere and no lightsor whatever your case maybe

Having issues with my 1970 restore. Why would exterior light have a small voltage wiring? Looks a speaker wire. Did you find this on yours? Converting all lights to led
Tks for any advice. Can send photo.

Never use silicone to seal anything on an rv. Nothing sticks to silicone not even knew silicone, so if you ever have to reseal, you'll have to take all the old silicone off which is very difficult. Use dicor butyl tape it's easier to get off, and you can stick new dicor on old dicor
