so apparently poppibuster has this big op level 4 with the big hit doing nearly 400,000 damage after set up then directly after you can see rex doing 300,000 with an art.
I remember spending what seemed like hours in my mind trying to get the Blades I needed and then checking and realizing I already had all the ones I needed
Poppibuster was such a letdown after expecting it to have access to Poppiswap and/or be usable by Tora. Tanks really got dealt an awkward hand in this game, having only two general weapon types and one of them is just bad.
Might be worth mentioning that like the challenge mode "Blades" and Poppi, Poppibuster is immune to the restrictive effects inside Spirit Crucible Elpys. If you have a Water Reflect/Absorb aux core, you can solo cheese Holy Lancer Efrain by putting Poppibuster on Zeke or Rex (can get Water Reflect before Ch.7 from a merc mission picked up from a Phonex near Treetop Path in Gormott; requires Nim). Even works when you're underleveled on BoC difficulty. Just slap a crit healing medal and double arts recharge pouch items on your driver and hunter's chemistry on some stat stick blades (Or your party members who'll probably die anyway), have your block art active anytime Efrain uses an art, and just use lv.4 special repeatedly.
For healing in that place since other than poppi everyone is restricted to level 1 specials, use Nim, Akhos and common twin rings. Ursula with switch healing is good too. For that annoying holy lancer I liked using the ether cannons.
I remember how disappointed I was when I found out Poppibuster didn't have Poppiswap... I thought that would be the appeal of using this random shield hammer but no, it just ended up easily the worst DLC blade of them all.
I always enjoyed using Poppi buster until I realized how slow the level 4 was and it made you wait soooo long for using another special, but idk, all shield hammers in this game aren't really "viable" and more just "I wanna see these blades so I'm gonna try to make them work"
Honestly they should have made poppibuster be able to switch weapon kits instead of being jsut hammer. Would make sense since the quest involves using things from each weapon.
Meh...why Grampypon make other Poppi for Rex-Rex and friends to use...Poppi is supposed to be Tora’s waif-... um...Blade. Yes Tora definitely meant Blade. Meh heh heh.

Enel, I did learn something here... despite being the best Shield Hammer (RIP Kasandra) and Monolith actually building to the weapon's strengths, the weapon class as a whole is still horribly outclassed by a Hammer clone, which humorously isn't even a Hammer.
You said Pneuma and didn’t preface your video with spoilers. All other experiences within the game have now been ruined. (this is sarcasm for the uninitiated)
It's a shame Shield Hammers are useless. I personally am a fan of transforming weapons (Side note: I am a Monster Hunter Switch Axe main), and the Shield Hammers are no exception. Heck, of the common weapon types, it's the only one that has a transforming property. However, it's problems come from a flaw that comes from the mechanics of the game: The endgame focuses on damage, damage, and more damage. Doing damage heals you, doing damage draws aggro, and, obviously, dealing damage deals damage. Shield Hammers... just don't do a lot of damage. They're made for tanking, and that's pretty much all they can do, excluding any gimmicks such as "Doesn't Ring a Bell." I do think it would be neat if they allowed Poppibuster to be customizable via Poppiswap, and it would also be nice if Tora could use him (As customizable as Poppi is, it's a little annoying to be forced into only using her three options). Even if he still gets outshined by Shulk, Poppibuster could at least provide better stats to a stronger blade.
I wonder why Tora specifically isn't allowed to use a DLC Artificial blade? You'd think that this would be one of the ones he could actually have. Do they just not want to give him a new weapon to deal with?

Poppi is a massive disappointment, especially with how tedious his skill tree is to complete. Having to view 70 heart-to-hearts is the most tedious thing I've done in XC2 , not even Ursula's merc missions can hold a candle, at least Ursula's merc missions are super useful.
XC2 has a massive issue of heavily wasting your time on meh tier blades like Ursula and Buster, but only providing truly absurd blades like Fiora, Elma, and Shulk mere tickles of chart fillings. They can have an entire mechanic of changing your driver into a blade, only to make the blade itself stupidly meh too. It's ridiculous how under designed these stupid blades are.
Normally I'd agree with you, but this particular game can be really long even without all the fluff it contains (Got 600+ hours logged from my first playthrough and 100% NG+ combined), and many enemies can be absolute damage sponges if you don't know all the ins and outs of the combat system, which the game does a really poor job of explaining, if at all. So with that said, I think Enel's "gotta go fast" approach has merit for XB2, though I might disagree for a lot of other games.
If a special is slow in a chain attack you can lose your fusion combo damage bonus even if you aren't necessarily going for fast times since it'll tick down faster. This gives you less damage which can mean a longer fight or death or something. Slower specials outside of chains can also leave you open for a longer period of time to take damage without being able to do anything about it. Speed in general is just really nice for fluidity in my opinion but outside of that it doesn't make a massive difference I suppose. For time attacks naturally speed is important also. In the case of level 4 specials, its really just the fluidity thing though.
Yes, but the mecha part of Poppibuster is male, so Poppibuster's pronouns can be whatever you want (he for the mecha, she for the drone, it bc robot, plural they bc there are two characters, singular they bc it's a neutral way to refer to people...) I think the game puts Poppibuster into the same gender category as Roc, if I remember correctly
@@Keychan64 I guess if they are close enough to human they could have one? Like, I don't think that Lego robot I built when I was 12 had a gender, but super-advanced-basically-real-person robots like Poppi who have likes and dislikes and relationships probably could develop a gender identity. Also, if your robot is programmed to interact with people, you could probably give them a gender identity to use in those interactions without having to achieve sentience, but whether that counts as a real gender is the sort of philosophical dilemma people write papers on. But given the human urge to treat antropomorphize the hell out of objects, it probably wouldn't make a difference to most people. Alexa has a female name, a feminine voice and most people refer to her as female, but I doubt she has the capability to identify as a gender
so apparently poppibuster has this big op level 4 with the big hit doing nearly 400,000 damage after set up then directly after you can see rex doing 300,000 with an art.

Poppi is a female...
@@blablablubb7623 wait do robots even have genders
One of the worst blades, not a cute girl. (Blonde poppi is a doll so I don't count it.)
