Got the C200 and love the fact that it is build like a little tank: its body is out of metal and contrary to the C300 water/rain proof without a case. Touch screen is an improvement imo, as the button pressing on the C200 is a bit annoying. In case you want the smallest formfactor (without the 'batterygrip') you cannot use the camera in the 'normal' way, as the lens and the screen are on the same side; great for self absorbed vloggers, totally unusable for 'normal' usage. Mic placement is a bit stupid imo; they should have added a second one on the other side. What are the time-settings for timelapse?

FAKE 4K. its actually 2k cam. change the video quality of this video 1080p then 4k. im using 4k monitor. and it is same. don't record it at 4k30p it is actually 2k it is just waste of memory card
GoPro currently is directly selling the Hero 8 Black for $199. In the US, Best Buy is also selling it for $199.99. I think that is a much better bang for your buck than this SJCam for not a whole lot more.

Great question! I totally forgot to talk about this. You can use it and record plugged in to a power source. It even works if you remove the battery and have it plugged in.

No point recording in 4K 30 because it does not film in 4K, it does not have a 4K chip so you are better to film in 2K 60.
