It’s 00:52 in South Africa. Just finished meal prep for my work week which is starting tomorrow and also eating and I’m so excited for this. Perfect way to end my day.
I Sooooo appreciate that there’s a deep eye base shade. I kind of felt that if there isn’t a deep shade, I can keep using my concealer. Now I can clearly see that the lightest shade made the eyeshadows Pop. So, I will get the lightest and deepest shade and I’m Good! The liners really show up intensely too. We get a Juvias Place mascara and bronzers and we are Set!

I picked up shade 2, a couple of weeks ago. I just picked up Shade 1 today. They're out of Shade 3 at this particular Ulta that I'm at. Ah! The joy of shopping! 😊
I LOOvee Juvias place I don't even have a deep skin tone I just love them and the brand SO MUCH. Don't be putting makeup out unless you're gonna be actually inclusive!!! It makes me so happy to see. They would be the first I've ever seen to have a deep skin eye primers. I better see more brands come out with some too
I also switched over from ELF. Absolutely LOVEEEEE the juvias eye primer. Only issue is I've ever had is creasing when I apply too much primer (yes my fault) a little dab of this primer goes a long way!
I need to buy this ASAP to go with all the eyeshadow pallettes I have siting around brand new and unused for the last year cuz im not going anywhere. But imma still buy it!

I want to order this one! I'm currently using the ABH primer, which is fine in the summer, but a little too drying in the winter. Can anyone tell me whether the Juvias primer is dry skin friendly?
U got me tryna prime my eyelids w layers of concealer to try to get the colors to pop. We shall see! I may b new at this, but ima catch on sooner or later!
I like the primer but if we already have a pale concealer why should we buy a primer instead of using concealer? Like are there any pros and cons to having one vs. the other? Respectfully
If the concealer works for you, you might not need to buy a primer. But I personally have pretty oily eyelids. If I put eyeshadow on without anything underneath it creases pretty much as soon as a blink. With my concealer it lasts for a good 2 hours and with the primer I'm currently using 8 hours. So primers are meant to make the eye shadow last longer. Bases - like the one in the video with intense pigment - are usually quite thick and wouldn't necessarily be comfortable to wear as a concealer but because of the way they are formulated they can help the colours pop even more or blend better. Of course there is also bad primers/bases that don't do anything and probably some concealers that do a good job as a primer, so if your concealer works for you, you might not even need one! Hope that helps ^-^ Edit: maybe I should add that I'm in no way professionally involved with make up, I just looked into eye primers because I had that problem with my eyeshadow creasing badly. On top of that the words primer and base are often used interchangeably so you are better off looking at the actual product itself rather than just blindly trusting that they use the same "definitions" of these words

I tried prepping my eyes like Shanny Stephens (makeup channel) with LA girl concealer in Chestnut as the base but it looks beige on Shanny Stephens and very dark brown when I purchased from the UK (almost the same colour as my skin or contour shade) I purchased Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony for my brows but would like to know a good not too dark or too light colour to clean my under brows and prep for eyeshadows colour. I hope this makes sense x

(@14:31) The way you applied the shadow, with the shimmer down the center of the blue, when you close your eyes it looks like a painting of a beautiful Lake in the Moonlight, with the light dancing off the top of the blue water, encapsulated by a perfect blend of purple into the pink. It's soooo pretty!

Siiis you have to use your palettes. It’s too easy to now want to use the JP products cos they are soooo gorgeous

Yes it does. A white or bright one will obviously show more pigment

If it is a base and not a primer then maybe Juvia's Place shouldn't call it an eyeshadow primer...
