I love how Mafuyu’s development is shown here. Instead of running away from reality and ending up being soulless and depressed like other times, now her heart follows what it really desires, even when her mind is in denial and confusion.
The thing is, I feel as if Kanade is already creating songs plural that are saving Mafuyu. It’s not a single song that’ll do it, the healing process for Mafuyu is going to be gradual, as it usually is. She’s already taken big steps, from her Sekai changing to this event where she’s starting to somewhat confront her mother. Maybe there’ll be a final song that helps her, but it’s ultimately a process. And we’re so proud of her for how far she’s come. You go Mafuyu, we’re rooting for you. :)
I felt her pain alot. Thoughts sometimes cant be forgotten easily... And she did something about it and somehow works. I like it.
I love how Mafuyu is slowly starting to rebel and break out of her shell. She recognizes what she wants and even attempts to stand up to her mom about music. She's got a long way to go but it's really comforting to see

it hurts but i know where hes coming from, but him saying that really doesnt help with the mental stress shes already had for awhile and especially after confronting her mom for the first time which takes quite a bit of courage to do. She really doesnt need the extra mental stress from kaito and it makes me sad how shes cautious for when she enters the sekai now which was literally her only other place where she could relax in peace. As someone who also tends to have lingering thoughts that often just end up making me overthink for awhile its not fun to experience. Stay strong mafuyu :(
Agreed. People think Mafuyu is being a brat but Kaito came off very harshly.
on one hand, yeah i agree, this is way too much mental stress on mafuyu. but on the other... the way things were these last few events, the progress mafuyu has made since the main story was going to be erased, every feeling she regained "killed" by her mother. she has to fight back *now*, before her mom isolates her further. niigo and miku's comfort helps, but only to a certain point. they're mantaining the status quo, not changing it, and change is what mafuyu needs in order to find herself.
