Pure was better for Cassie's growth in character than it was for the skins fans. Simply for how detached she was from her old lifestyle (sex, drugs and alcohol), in a dead end job surrounded by wasted lives and wasted potential but keeps that little bit of hope. Pure could also mean her kid brother who she takes responsibility for.
I really enjoyed Pure, I love it so much. I missed the "Oh Wow, Lovely." but at least she kind of brought up Sid. Unlike Effy who didnt even bring up Freddie at all .
i would never say i grew out of skins, Cassie for me is still the most tragically beautiful character i have ever seen and i absolutely love seeing Hannah play the character, after watching the first part of Pure she's still a very sad character and i hope at the end of this she has some sort of happy ending to move on with.
i played skins on repeat for 2 years straight after a bad break up from a girl i was with for 7 years. Skins sadly saved my life as a teen. can't even watch the chris dying episoide any more. chest stops working. Thank You for the awesome memories and medicine :)
as for me, fire and pure were both amazing, even though fire had some heart breaking moments that was great episodes, yeah so what they didn't do drugs or stuff like old days, but this season is showing how their grown up life is going, how are they trying to becoming adults, oh and pure was amazing, i don't understand people who are saying it was boring, i mean, it was soo cassie:)

They are capturing Cassie's personality by showing that she sympathizes with him, despite the fact that he did something illegal. And besides, Cassie did not approve of him taking pictures without her knowing at first. But after he explained himself she began to realize that he is just as lonely and in need of a friend as her.

Sophisticated film and television has always been about telling complex stories about complex humans. I'm really impressed by how subtle, slow-paced and cinematic this series of skins has been and I think maybe you could try and approach it a little more maturely. I have had things happen like this before with people and instead of getting them in trouble, I talked to them and it eventually stopped.
