Beautiful blade. That hidden tang worries me though because it could come loose in the handles

Nice overview of those beautiful knives. Thanks, Fredrik. I think, as a fighter, the handle is designed for a full hand grip, with the thumb wrapped around the handle, too...for stabbing and slashing motions. Thus the top and bottom of the finger guard help keep your hand from sliding forward, especially during stabbing. I also suspect I'm telling you something you already know. LOL. As you mentioned, you don't expect to be using them in this manner, anyway. Gorgeous knives.

Thank you, Rick! Yes, I'm indeed aware of the design of the double guard from a fighting-perspective, which I won't use it for. I do feel like a "hypocrite" of sorts though, since I really wanted a sub-hilt version of the Sandstorm as well. I mean, there's literally no other use for the sub-hilt other than in fighting, when stabbing/thrusting with it, lol. I guess I just think it looks kind of neat, and ... yes, that's probably it. And to go Sub-Hilt and Single Guard probably makes it even more contradictory ... xD

I'm not a fan of the sub-hilt design, nor the hidden tang aspect, but, overall, the standard design is beautiful . . . almost too beautiful for a fighting knife.

I really like the look of Sub-Hilts, and I don't mind that it's Hidden Tang. Still, I do generally prefer Exposed Full Tang-knives. Oh, and you're right, it's almost too beautiful for a fighting knife!
