I bought this used around a year ago. Needed a new bobbin case and pedal but was extremely cheap. Had some issues with the bobbin case rotating but that was resolved by a small adjustment in the stop. I don't know if its my machine but I find the balance is a bit off for the circle stitch next the button holes so I adjust when needed but still not that great. I also found the light a bit lacking so have added an much brighter LED light. Its magnetic so I stuck a big metal washer to the back of mine and its great.
I love the needle up/down feature and the thread cutter is brilliant. Having used a mechanical machine for the last 20 years I was hesitant to go electronic as I thought it may have less power etc. How wrong was I. The level of control to complete a single stitch is brilliant and I have recommended this machine over a mechanical a few times now. I use it for bag making and its great. All in all a great machine.

I have this machine & love it! Also have an hd9, but use this for making welding caps with the decorative stitches! Thanks for your video, Boki!

What setting for free motion. The book does not mention it. I could not find it.

I wish you showed what stitch 16 does. The manual doesn't even mention stitch 16.

Thanks for the informative video. You said the machine comes with a walking foot. You did not mention the Feed Dogs. For quilting do you drop the feed dogs ? I’m an old sewing person and have an Elna I’m told its a Vintage Machine like myself. I want to purchase a new machine but not too complicated. What is the price of this machine ? I live in South Africa and any advice and help you can give will be appreciated. I’m now into making quilts and the Elna is not user friendly anymore 🌻

I don't know about the feed dogs but I paid $699 for mine new. I haven't used it yet so that's all I can tell you.

Can you show a janome that can do all types of fabrics? Like leather and canvas and vynil and denim?? Which one do you recommend? Thanks good video.

This not a starter machine. It's a workhorse.
