Chan is the oldest and is 27 as of Oct 3rd. Also, he left Australia when he was 13 to go to Korea to train to be an idol. He trained for 7 yrs before debuting. He also was allowed to hand-pick all the members of SKZ, which almost NEVER happens in Kpop.

@@YesterdaysYouthTV You need to watch EP 43 - 44 it doesn't get talked about enough, and you get to see their relationships. it's so cute. Also, try listening to Side Effects and MIROH Plz (they are older songs but so good, and you'll like the Felix part in Side Effects ).
Chan deals with insomnia. He used to have breathing problems when he was sleeping (I think due to a deviated septum) and would have sleep apnea because of it so sometimes he would stop breathing while he was sleeping which made him afraid to sleep. He's since had surgery to correct the issue thankfully. He's also just a workaholic in general so he'll be up late working on music. He always has his laptop, we call it the holy grail because he makes most of the music on it so who knows how many songs are on it, with him even backstage. Hence Hyunjin taking a pic of him working on it. Chan also does the remixes for their live performances.
Yes Chan is the oldest I.N is the maknae (youngest). I.Ns birthday is coming up soon, Feb 8th! He'll be 24.
Chan has said before that Changbin knows and understands him the best. Han, we call him Chans first kid because he met Han first then Changbin then the others.

@@YesterdaysYouthTV there are a couple parts, spanning a couple years (they would revisit the concept every ~2 years). Part 1 and 2 are stand-alone videos done for stuff like anniversaries, not really sure what the occasion was exactly. Part 1 also includes an ex-member because it was filmed a long time ago (he left not long after their debut). Part 3 and 4 of skz family are part of SKZ CODE, the show you started. You can actually watch them right away since skz code doesn’t necessarily have to be watched in chronological order! Part 1 and 2 explain some of the family roles, and part 2 is the origin to the „I’m foive” meme. You may choose to skip part 1 if you want to since some stays don’t like content with the old member but it’s up to you.

Chan has been focused on his music career for more than half of his life. He left his home and family in Australia to be an idol at the age of 13! He spent 7 long and lonely years as a trainee before he was given the chance to form his own group, something not heard of in the industry (the companies always put groups together). Chan's whole backstory is both a sad one and one of perseverance with a happy ending (though even that took years of hard work and struggles to get).

Stray Kids are always Chaotic and we love them for it. You might want to check out The Kids Room series; I believe the first was in 2018 or 2019. SKZ answers questions or two members are discussing their relationship and the other members are in a separate room discussing the member or members. It will enlighten you about the dynamics of the group. They have emotional maturity that most people don’t have who are twice their age. You also get to see the development of the SKZ Brotherhood. Their relationship is authentic and beautiful. ❤❤❤❤

If it hasn’t been mentioned before Lee Know (Minho) is the designated Mom of the group and there are compilation videos of him taking care of the kids, in his very unique way.

The context for Changbin and Han at 4:53 is an episode of Chan's Room. When he went live weekly he would often play various songs including some by SKZ. On this episode Changbin and Han were guests and he wanted to play one of their songs but they insisted, instead, to listen to Chan's song "I Hate to Admit". Chan was trying to avoid it so they were being obnoxious until he did what they wanted. Again, the perks of being child #1 and #2 lol.

04:00 This is Channie's Room. Chan used to go live every Sunday and it was one of the most healing things ever. Sometimes I rewatch episodes to feel better lol. He had to stop because of some drama (that I personally think was made up by a "stay"). The context of them pushing him to play a song is about a solo song Chan has called "I hate to admit." He gets embarrassed about its existence so the members and stays tease him about it. It's a very sad song with some strong emotions that hit you in the feels HARD.
11:05 He's the easiest target for SKZ members, but that man will roast and tease STAY like no tomorrow. Stay also mess with him back though. In the behind the scenes for Railway MV, he was in jail for teasing stay too much and said he's only gonna get worse 😆Also, he was a trainee for 7 years before debuting with skz and is used to being the maknae (kinda pronounced like "mag-nay" aka the youngest). There's even a song with an MV called Maknae on Top because they always let the maknae (I.N.) eat first, hold awards at events, etc and it's because of Chan's experiences being the last for everything and he never wants I.N. to feel that way 🥲 Chan also acts like the youngest when hanging out with the other members because it makes them cringe and he likes to get a reaction out of them.

Your journey is so fun to follow. You can always tell who's doing it for the easy views K-pop brings and who genuinely enjoys the music/shenanigans. I noticed right away that you were putting genuine effort into learning their names. Lots of people don't go past learning Felix. I love Lixxie SO MUCH, but the other members are all so wonderful and unique in their own way too.
I know it's VERY long. But the yearly updated Stray Kids guide by Chandora's World just came out 4 days ago. I highly recommend checking it out to help you learn names and basics on each member. You can always break it up into segments by member. She has it time stamped and very well organized.

I'm a metalhead (love the Pantera shirt) and have been a Stay for about a year; I love their music but I fell as hard and fast as I did because of their personalities and group dynamic. I'm getting such a kick out of watching you fall down the rabbithole like I did, I'm enjoying every second. If you like compilations, there's a channel called Lavernn that does some good stuff.

Felix is beloved by the members. All of them have talked about how soft hearted he is so they are gentler with their teasing of him and he is less apt to be mean to anyone. Seungmin and Lee Know are the most savage. by the way you might like the complilation titled "Its Stray Kids Not Straight Kids" just a thought. also you may want to watch a guide at some point. Chandra's world (I may have misspelled that) just came out with the 2025 guide and her 2024 one is a fan favorite so its likely awesome. its long but trust me, Stay LOVES watching reactions to the long guides
