Hi there. A friend shared this with me and I just wanted to say thank you so very much for the deep, engaging reading of RG. It really means a lot. I'm so happy you saw the parallels with Don Quixote as well! Take care, Mark

Hey Mark just wanted to say I fucking love this book. I also just read Lesser Ruins. It made me laughed out loud and I cried. I have not cried from a book in years. Specifically- the build up and the delivery of this line ““knowing it didn't matter, what mattered
was being companions in this curious life, so strange and beautiful and undeniably tragic.”

Thanks, I took your recommendation Saint Sebastian's Abyss and enjoyed it very much. I'll search this one out too.

It reminded me of Voltaire's Candide. From your review. Philosophical satire questing. The dust excerpt was hilarious. It would be great if your ramblings built up or around three key excerpts of a text that capture a key dimension of the book. Also, a few key lines from texts that influence the text reviewed could also be an idea, to demonstrate the textual influence. I enjoy your reviews!
